Under The Bridge~
You float through the busy town of Midgaard, to your north you can see the
dump, and to the south you can see the promenade and the park entrance. A
bridge just high enough for you maneuver under is just overhead, connecting the
promenade to the dump.

Floating through the Town of Midgaard, you can see teh common square through
the heaps of trash to the north. A fairly high river bank makes it difficult
to see to the south but you can make out the roof of the Park Cafe peeking over
the Promenade. The river flows east to west.

Flowing gracefully through the town of Midgaard, the Midgaard River is a
beautiful place. A large willow tree hangs over the back of the thieves guild
to the north, while to the south you can see where the Promenade joines Emerald
Avenue. The river flows from the east to the west.

Here, the banks aren't so steep, and you can see right down the concourse

It is held up over the water by large, weathered wooden pillars. A large hole
has been knocked into the city wall, allowing boats to pass through to the east.

Eel cave~
This is clearly the den of a powerful and hungry creature. The large bones
and skeletons that cover the floor of the den belie this fact. There is a
small room to the north where the creature stores the things it scavenges.

The water here is fairly clear and the bed is blanketed with silt and
sparsely dotted with small rocks and pebbles. To the west you can see the
river bed is almost completely devoid of silt and rocks, and the bedrock is
nearly entirely exposed. Ocassionaly a small fish darts in front of you.

The River Midgaard meanders to the south here. The river bed is covered
with a mixture of silt, mud, and rocks. Looking at the bank from your
underwater point of view, you can see evidence of erosion, and you suspect that
in a few months it may collapse.

The riverbed is plastered with a mixture of mud, silt, and pebbles. Almost
every pebble is perfectly smooth and round. It must have taken thousands of
years of weathering by the ever-flowing river to weather the rocks into this
shape.

Above the water the density of the trees thicken, causing more shade to be
cast over the river. This blockage of light, combined with the allready
slightly murky water, causes visibility to be quite low. The many twigs,
leaves, and pines floating about the water prove to be quite an annoyance,
becoming tangled in your hair and garments should you stray too close to the
surface.
