A Social Gathering Room~
You are in a small, simple room which is dimly lit. Lamps on the walls are
lit by town officials at night and snuffed in the morning. In daylight hours
light seeps in through cracks in the ceiling and a small window which looks out
onto the Hall Square. A wide, arched doorway leads east to the main hall.

The Great Hall~
The Great Hall of Midgaard is a quiet area at what is called "the top of
midgaard. " The hall in shape, is long and rectangular, sporting exits in
several directions. A large, arched opening leads down small set of steps
which descend into the Hall Square. Smaller arch-ways lead west into a small
gathering room, and east into a small alcove in which the donation rooms are
located. To the northeast a long passage leads into Midgaard's Great Arena,
while to the north a large wooden door opens into a small temple and altar.

The Clerics' Inner Sanctum~
This is the deepest part of the inner sanctum. The center of this room is
directly in line with the altar above, and each corner is in perfect geometry
with the stars Exlabin, Forther, Lexiten, and Trinitan. A picture of the
mighty Thor, is hanging on the wall, just above the altar which is set against
the western wall. A small hole to the south leads into darkness, through which
vile smells escape. The lovely smells of insense seem to mask those from the
hole however.

The inner sanctum is a place of relaxation and concentration. The sanctum
was placed directly under the temple altar for better prayer. A small lounge

however. Back to the south is the foyer.

You stand in Midgaard's Hall Square. Midgaard was situated on somewhat of a
hill, and as a result the city is "stepped". A hill rises up to the north with
a small set of stairs leading to Midgaard's Great Hall. A small building has
been erected to the west, a large sign on the building reads "NEWBIE SCHOOL".
To the east is the old Grunting Boar Inn, one of the first buildings in
Midgaard. To the south a small set of steps leads down into the market square,
the heart of midgaard. This area is somewhat defined by it's name, the square
is in fact square in shape, and unroofed.

Butch's Meatslab~
Unlike all the other shops in Midgaard, this one is fairly large. Again a
wooden finish. All the items for sale here look quite fresh, although the
fingernail you just saw floating in a vat is cause for some concern. A small
hatch with squares cut out of it in almost a cage fashion leaks light onto the
wall. Perhaps its coming from the basement, where the meat is prepared. A
ladder leads up to the upstairs appartment, to where butch and barry retire at
nightfall. A small note on the counter has a few minor blood stains upon it.

Market Square~
The market square is a slightly wooded area with scattered trees and quaint
buildings. You are at the northeast corner of Midgaard's Market Square. The
Outpost lies to the north, where you can purchase your miscelaneous goods. To
the east a small tavern awaits hungry victims. To the southwest is the Market
Circle where event often take place. To the south and west the square
continues.

Market Square~
Here the market square becomes Main Street once again to the west. To the
east is Gala Stage. Every other direction the market square continues,
just waiting to part you with your gold coins.

Market Square~
This is probably the most densly foreseted area of the square. A large tree
has grown between the two shops here. To the west is the Weaponsmith, and to
the south is Armor and Stuff. The market continues in every other direction.

Market Square~
From your perspective here on the southern edge of the market square, shops
sprawl out in all directions. To the north is the market circle, and to the
south the landscape changes drastically as the market square transitions to the
common square.

Market Square~
Here the market square is free of most trees and brush. To the east is a
small meat shop. To the south the old magic shop lay, now run under the name
"Wanda's Wands". The alliteration is enought to make you sick, let alone the
site of Wanda herself. The market continues in all other directions.

A Side Street~
The town walls are directly to your east and from the west you
can hear the sound of metal clanking as warriors are obviously
engaged in practice. The side street continues north and intersects
with a dark alley to the south.
