On the Path~
The terrain around you quickly changes as you look to the horizon.  Far
ahead you can see the gigantic outline of the Trioloseum, home to Alanthia's
most prestigious duels, battles, contests, and entertainment.  Barely, you
hear the screams of the many patrons as they root on their favorite
competitors in one of the three main arenas.  A {Gsign{X crafted of the
finest wood calls out your attention.

Before the Outer Gates~
After walking the long road, you finally arrive at the outer gates.  A
large, stone wall rises from the ground to surround the mighty arenas.  Two
guard posts are positioned at either side of the outer gate, but there seems
to be very little security.  As opposed to the road, the cheers of the crowd
are much louder.  The gates are wide open as if inviting you to join the
busy bustle inside.  You try to head into the fray, when you bump into an
invisible security wall.  The wall shimmers gold with magic, and you gain
the attention of one of the guards who turns and says, "{CPlease read the
{Csign.  {X{X" and then turns back without worry.

Two very unprotected guard posts are all the security the giant structure
appears to require.  Even the guards on duty are staring back into the crowd
in good spirits.

Entering the Market Place~
The swarm of people engulf you and draw you into the tides of color,
scents, and good spirits.  One cannot help but feel full of happiness in
such an exciting place!  To your west you see a large sign that appears to
be boasting delicious food, while, to your east, you see many people with
ale in hand.  Still more activity appears to be to the north.  Above you
appears to be a hidden trapdoor.

Middle Market~
Forced into barely enough room to breath, you begin to prespire from the
massive amount of body heat being generated.  Amazingly, the crowd is still
in a jubilant mood.  Many are piling into the building to the east, and
shoving their way back out with varied supplies in their sweaty palms.  Much
more traffic is heading north towards the rest of the market, and some are
even streaming back south.  Oddly, no one is going into the large building
to the west.

Northern Market~
With no break in the density of the crowd, you hop on your toes to see
what sites surround you.  To the east, you see a bright, frilly store. 
West, you see the Gallery.  The crowd thins, if only a little, to the north.

Before the Grand Gates~
Unlike the marketplace, the gates here are intricatly carved.  Made of
hollowed ivory, they seem to radiate the sun's energy into the crowds that
stand before them in awe.  Observing, you notice that the doors, while
large, swing gently open automatically as you approach them.

The Grand Foyer~
Slipping through the ivory gates, you enter a very beautiful room. 
Murals of the Moons grace the ceiling from which elaborate staircases seem
to dangle down in semi-circular patterns.  It is said that only the
immortals can travel up the stairs to guide the events.  Any mortal who
tries runs the risk of crushing the delicate ivory steps, and as a result,
bringing the wrath of the immortals upon them.  Around the room, giant,
plush, red couches wait for someone to feel their comfort.  A sign has been
engraved into the far wall.

The Trilogy Pub~
As you enter this pub, you quickly realize that there isn't a bar! 
Instead, many barrels of ale line the walls, each with its freely flowing
tap.  The patrons merely empty their mug and then walk to one of the vast
selection of barrels and fills it up: free of charge.  The only exchange of
money here is for a special mug, offered by the BarrelKeeper.

The Gladiator Grill~
Some of the best smells reach your nose the instant you enter.  Your
mouth begins to water as you stare at the patrons who are ripping their way
through a wide variety of exotic foods.  Running to and fro, many buff,
loincloth clad gladiators wait on the jam packed tables.  Perhaps you can
find a seat and flag one down for a quick bite to eat.

The Underground~
Quiet and still, this shop gives you the creeps.  Apparently rarely
visited, the dark, damp interior's depressing decor is matched only by the
deadly array of weapons and armor displayed on the walls.  Seen nowhere else
in the world, the weapons are meant only for the fiercest of competitors. 
To buy one, means you're a mean machine, looking for the fight of your life.
Thus, the majority of the sane world stays away from this unhappy shop.

The Event Supplier~
In this smaller shop, you see everything you could imagine needing for a
day at the Trioloseum.  Many patrons are here buying their supplies before
the events begin.

An awe-inspriring building, you feel as if you've entered a temple. 
Around this giant, single-roomed building, you see pedastals, plaques,
pictures, and statues that are placed here to remember and commemorate the

The Sizzling Souvenir Shop~
Magical flames light this shop in a dazzling array of colors.  Kids
surround you while playing with gizmos and gadgets galore.  Obviously,
you've stumbled into the shop of useless, yet fun, items.  Wether you're
looking for a souvenir, a toy to keep a child happy, or a trinket for
yourself, you're bound to find it in all of this chaos.

The War Arena~
Much different than the Tag Arena, there is no beauty to this arena. 
Simply, this arena is made to test the war skills of clans.  With this in
mind, the terrain is not uniform, the walls are not painted nicely, and the
ground is not even.  The grandstands of the other arenas is instead a large
observation tower from which all observers can view the war games.  Of
course, they aren't all games, many are for blood.

A dimmly lit, short tunnel appears to take you directly to the Tag Arena.
The crowd around you chatter in anticipation.

The Tag Arena~
Blinded momentarily from the lighting change, you focus upon the most
amazing sight.  The crowd is no longer chatting because the arena that lay
before them is beoynd description.  High arching sides swoop up, high into
the air, to give a birds-eye view to a larger crowd.  The entire outer arena
appears to be crafted from a single slab of ivory.  Looking down to the
arena floor, you can see rows and rows of enormous bushes.  The bushes,
woven into a maze, form a small labyrinth where in the participents compete.
Perhaps the viewing area will give you a better shot at the action.

The Grandstand~
From this position, you are able to see all of the action that occurs on
the arena floor.  Some people cannot handle the extreme action and gore.

The Observation Tower~
After climbing countless stairs, you arrive to a magnificent view of the
blood and gore below.  Most times, this isn't a game.  The participents here
are out for pride, glory, and life.  Those who win in these proving grounds

South-West Duel Room~
Fairly clean compared to the rest of the arena, the smell here is almost

Southern Duel Room~
Rotten smells of decomposing flesh fill your nose.  This room, while
quite empty, is one of the rooms of the dueling arena.  As evident by the
mass of bones and flesh laying along the walls, many brave, or foolish,
warriors fight to the death within' this small arena's walls.  However, due
to the open ceiling and natural fertilizer, many beautiful flowers thrive in
full bloom.  If dueling, please go down for further instructions.

With a decor consisting of decapitated heads, sliced fingers, and removed
hearts, all nailed to the walls, some find it difficult to plan a duel here.
Yet, it is the accepted location.  Here, dualists are expected to work to an
agreement of the rules.  There are very few predefined rules, and are posted
on a small {Csign{X.  Except for those, anything goes.

Smaller than the other two arenas, the Multi-Purpose is used for many
different events.  The most frequent event is the morph qwest.  As a matter
of fact, that very event is currently being held in the arena.  Looking
down, you see many odd shapes engaging each other in battle.  Perhaps a
better view could be attained by heading east.

in giant heaps is testament to the great torment that this tower of pain
stands to display.

A Decaying Temple~
Destroyed by the many wars, this poor temple is now in ruins.  Once a
large and prestigious temple, it was left here when the Trioloseum was built

and the east wall still stand, though they are charred black and covered in
dried blood.  Far in the distance, you can see the four watch towers that
served as protection to the temple.
