once feared volcano which buried a whole city, spewing lava of intense heat,
now a mere mountain.  It is rumoured that remants of the city can still be
found amongst the debris.

As you carelessly stumble upon this makeshift prison, you notice an
archangel standing at attention, guarding his post vigilantly.  Apparently,
though the city above was entirely wiped out by the volcanic eruption, this
guard has been on duty for centuries.  The cells are pure energy force
fields that cripples all hopes of escaping that the prisoners habour.  There
is definately no way past the intense shields of energy without its magical
key.  Exits lie in all four cardinal directions.

by the magical chains, a small portal stone can be seen lying on the corner
of the floor.  The presence of cobwebs covering the small stone, could only
mean that the prisoner here has been missing for a very long time already.

dilpidated cell.  Even the steel grills that held prisoners captive before,
have turned rusty and all dusty.  The absence of monsters here could be due
to the fact that the living conditions are so terribly poor.  Just as you
are about to return, the roof caves in, trapping you in this room.

The city square~
This used to be where the centre of all commercial activities were
carried out, where people could be often seen rushing along the streets. 
Now that the eruption has practically wiped out all life here, the city
square still remains, although a far cry from its original state.  Molten
cinder and ash have layered the square unevenly, causing the presence of
many bumps, and the various personal items that the citizens had all also
all strewn over the place.

The blacksmith's forge~
The temperature is much higher than that of the other rooms, noticeable
because of the fiery blaze that the blacksmith skilfully manipulates to
forge his weapons.  On the blacksmith's table, many tools of all sorts lie
in a neat arrangement, ready for the blacksmith's use.  However, for some
reason or another, the blacksmith's forge exudes a rather sinister feeling
upon entering, rather unusual for a typical forge...
