This is the CoolCode3 license as of 8/7/99. This copy of the license is
provided for review purposes only, and may not necessarily be the copy
currently included with the code. If this is the case, the copy included
with the code takes precedence over this copy.

--General License--
The files contained in the tape archive/gnu zip file ("The Code") are
hereby declared outside public domain, and licensed for use only by those
specifically named by Rocket Spuds, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "The
First Party").

--Distribution License--
The Licenseholder shall not distribute The Code, nor shall they offer it
within the public domain, except at direct request of The First Party.

--Usage License--
The First Party hereby grants an exclusive license to the receiving party
(hereinafter referred to as "The Licenseholder") to use The Code within
any single multiplayer internet-based game, so long as that game is
provided within the public domain for use, and users of that system are
not charged for their play. The Code may not be used to copy and/or
implement specific parts of the whole of The Code into an existing game.
In addition, the licenseholder must include a statement regarding the
current location of the game of The First Party, as well as a statement
within the code file that the file is (C) 1996-1999 Rocket Spuds,
Inc/Jouster@COOLmud.

--Derivational License--
Should The Code be modified by more than 90%, the license shall be
declared null and void, with the exception of the requirement that the
file which contained the former Code include a reference to its
derivational original.

--Exceptional License--
Should any part of the above license be declared to be in direct violation
of the licenses of The Code's derivational originals' licenses, then that
portion and only that portion shall be declared null and void.
Furthermore, should the files in the original distribution package--this
license, and The Code--not be in their original format, this
license is declared null and void, and the receiving party must
immediately delete The Code from their system.
