These rumors were most likely made up by players jealous of these people

Ok there is a problem and we need votes from all the players
We cannot decide whether u should get hp from pks or hp from status
If from status u get 25k hp from every status you get
Some say that this will allow the top people to stay strongest
Since they would have the most status and get the most hp
Or it could be made through pks which means every pk is 25k more hp
Some say this will allow people to kill someone then be killed
and keep doing this over and over again
Every time they kill someone and die they can get 25k more hp
meaning the could do this 20 times to get 500k more hp
So, we are confused on how to make it so we need you help
Write a note on board 1 stating whether to make pk or status
and if you would like write an explanation on why
Make all these notes for all to see and on board 1

just to clarify, i know it might be confusing for some:
upgrades can only cap people IN THEIR UPGRADE LEVEL
I.E. Up 2 vs. up2 or higher.
HOWEVER, these rules change if the upgraded person is at less status
than it cost them to upgrade
An up2 with 3 status may cap anybody with status...this applies to
anybody within 7 status of them
an up3 with 9 status may cap anybody that has 2 status or more.
i think this should clarify things :)

I don't feel vamps are overpowered.. they hit pretty hard, yeah,
and pretty often.. but so do Death Knights and no one complains
about that, since it's their only power. Vamps don't get auto
hits like angelicaura or stuff, I'm like 80% sure on that right

Ok..no offense, but when my shit hits for 500 a piece.
Except for melee.
That's a bit insane..I know it takes a awhile for them to max.
But jesus christ..I barely won, they are insane.
They don't get alot of attacks..or anything, and he did fine.
It's just damage reduction is insane, you could lower it atleast some.
Even when I cut off eq my dmg from combos was still 300-1k a hit.

OKAY it seems that on this blink niengeto did about as much damage as I DID lol
thank god i have marcus, seems like my marcus worships do 3/4 of my damage
the VERY FEW attacks of slashes that i do get get "passed through target"
note the 12, 70, 328, 17, 313, etc. damage that i do, maybe if you made ALL OF
these extra attacks do 1/2 damcap along with lord marcus hits and more slashes
that actually HIT, i would stand a chance, as it is im being crushed by Niengeto
we are same upgrade same stats, same eq, and he isnt even doing midrounders
or dodging my blinks, partly because he does as much dmg on blinks as i do to
him, he isnt even restancing lol, OMG, lets make all the extras= 1/2 damcap
through sanc, and also make our normal slashes come more often, and make
Marcus hits do 1/2 damcap also, 2k is pathetic, most players do what, 4.5k hits?
i think i can atrribute this to my hit/dam. i have all the best up2 eq on
(titanium/rune/orb of darkness/scryball etc.) with all the other stuff done
(qpconverts/worships/etc), i have max stats, and i AM in demonform
(which by the way gives 200 hit/dam as opposed to spiderform/gfavor
which give more like 2k or higher hit/dam...with all this stuff im under
3k hit/dam....thats QUITE laughable, and i hit for about 1/5 damcap on
marcus's and slashes(which i get few of) and i hit for 17 dmg on the extras

yeah demons are kinda weak lol, but then again a battlemage is
stronger at higher up, hell I got owned left and right to get
where I am right now.
Should make demon's disci/imparts actually worth it, they hit
like a newbie with the FEW exceptions where they hit decent
*which btw isn't far enough to make it worth it*
as for your 19's and low hits, hell I've done a commplete
round of mageshield attacks where each one didn't hit for
over 1k *trust me that sucked*
as far as I see, battlemage's illusion invoke is just a little
more effective than the wraith's dimensiondodge. yes I do tend to
dodge a crap load more, and what shane didn't show you
is that me just boxing with him without restancing AND
without dodging his blinks took me from 605,520 *which is my max hp right now*
c trans aweful which was approx. just a little over 100k which isn't bad lol
but yeah I agree demons need to be upped, since they are easily
stomped if you dodge blink...

Lane, a pwipe is utterly ridiculous. Since the backup
restore, I have made up2, and 1.85 million qp. A pwipe
would set me off the edge. If you had started working,
100k qp takes all of an hour of helped questing. Just
think about what Marcua nd Darrens went through. The
shell pass was changed and they lost access to old pfiles.
Concerning the 100k reim, I too thought all characters
should recieve this not-full benefit, but they tried
non-the-less. And like you said, if they HAD given qp
to fully restore someone, a 5 minute newbie might recieve
600k qp. Part of a MUD is dealing with the setbacks.
Lane, you's my friends and I am not talking negative about
anything you said. I'm just trying to find positive, neutral
ground.

Lane, yes there is a difference between you saying the problem
was caused by me or the problem was out of my hands. There is
nothing any owner can do to prevent a thing like that, so dont
go around calling it negligence on my or darrens part. About your
idea of giving it to every damn character on the mud, I guess thats
why you arent an owner. Under your idea, players that have been on
for 5 minutes total, or players that havent been on at all since the
backup would get the qps. A person could effectively make 30 alts to
get 300mil qps. And Lane, people do cheat. There was a 3 day loss,
deal with it and catch up. Unless youve played 72 hours on the 3 days
before it went down, you shouldnt really complain, and if you do play
that much, catching up should just take another 3 days. But, if you
truly think giving 100k qps to everyone in the pfiles is a good idea,
then i seriously doubt your intelligence.

That makes me feel horrible that I was accused of cheating.
In case someone doesn't realize it, bmages have less lag
on all spells which makes sense...we ARE mages after all!
And in case you want to actively pursue this "friend" that
ported for me...I have the complete logs, even the ports
that I made, again, that I casted...There is never a friend
I missed him several times.
I especially liked the part where shane entombed the 'escape'
location, so i had to c port to him to get him.
Now that I think about it...Shane may have been talking about
how I fled his blinks so fast. In THAT case, it was class travel.
In any case, I didnt cheat, there were no friends, and Shane
is mad that he lost his 1.00 record.

I will not halt posting notes until I get a response.
Bmages shield hits were lowered from 10 to 5. Although
I do belive that 10 hits for the shield is too much at
LOWER upgrades...it is WAY to LITTLE at higher ups,
including up3.
Neingeto was killed by Link easily when it hit for 10.
Now it hits for 5 and i barely get Link out of good.
Is it possible to start the mage shield at say 5 hits
and increase it by one hit per upgrade?
-Although I will still lose all status to Link since
5 + 2 = 7, and Nein lost status when it was for 10.
Something needs to be done and I do not like the fact
that after several others have posted notes concerning
the Bmages and after I have talked (a one sided discussion)
to both Marcus and Darrens about it on AIM, I recieve no
response, no reply, no hint of concern.
Marcus, Darrens, I love your MUD and you guys are awesome...

Ok, I have proof of all this and the head builder as well
as several other characters can vouch for me on this matter
I typed score and saw my 5864357 QP. I then noticed my MR
was 18994 so I though, man, I want a 19k+ MR. So I converted
qp to exp a few times and trained them all.
I then attempted to place a 15000 QP bounty on Sebastians
head so pk would take place. It told me I didn't have enough
QP to do this. So I was like, WTF! I typed score again and
the QP line was completely gone! I though maybe it is a temp
bug so I quit and logged back on...still no QP. I then killed
a mob to see if the QP line would come back. It did...I have
a total of 2 QP. I had EXACTLY 5864357 when they all disappeared.
It the QP rolled over, then that sucks and I won't get more QP.
If they just bugged away, then Ack!
I spent most of my 88 hours getting these QP so in the future, when
PK is more fierce, I wouldn't have to waste time and lower my defenses
to gain QP...I was stockpiling them and giving them to newbies to
help them out. I have games with the prizes being QP too. Please
Marcus, Darrens, or Spawn, I really need all those QP back. I have a
complete log of 10,000 lines (the ZMud Buffer at this time). And you
can ask almost anyone about it - they will confirm my QP countage.

It is Tuesday morning. 6:15am. I get on the MUD, and see

Marcus kindly reset them yesterday evening...and -poof-
If there is some bug that is -poofing- my QP then that blows.
The slightly bad news that I have is that the only log I
have is of this morning...however, I do believe that
Marcus can check the connection logs to see that I haven't
connected since I left yesterday night.

I had yet to have had some mortal dubbed as me, thank you
for letting me experience this, it was very pleasing and gave
me quite a good laugh. However, after the laughing and fun I
realized, "Huh, someone is accusing me of abusing the rules,
I, don't, like, that," This is what I have to say.
First and foremost, I am not Omnyss, although I wish I could
take credit for his note, as it was hilarious and gave me even
more of a laugh than having you accuse me of being him. I have
not had a mortal player since Taliton, whom you may or may
not know of from before the pwipe. I basically forbid myself from
playing a mortal since Taliton was what led to my being fired
the first time and I wouldn't like to be fired a second time, I'm
sure you wouldn't either, Sparda, am I not right? So you must know
that I wouldn't be so stupid to do the thing that fucked me over
in the first place. Anyway, I'm rambling.

then why in gods name are you able to perm mort someone
in arena using soulsuck to heal yourself when they have -10 hp?
dont make sense and should be made so it only takes the hp it can
ex: person has 2k hp and they use soulsuck, person is morted but soulsuck
only takes away 2k and heals the person with 2k hp

its simple demons are way over powered
when they hit you 14 times a round and you hit only like 5,
then they blink and hit you from 50-65 times?
thats a lil bit unfair isnt it? xaos blinked me twice and each one
hit me over 60 times
(yes you can dodge, but people who must use combos and
shadowflare dont get that nice ability) i think it should
be looked at, and on top of it i only hit him for 1600ish, my damcap is 6100
(wich is lower than it should be), and yes this WAS out of hell

saying how im the only one smart enough to use palm,
i dont think it should be removed, becuause using palm removes my
shadowflare command, and most of the time my palm
lags me more than it stunns cause many an opponent to flee
or get an opening round on me, so palm is usually worse

Since I am nice, no names will be used, Instead, the
names will be replaced with imaginative character nouns.
There is this made up3 named, Warant...that has 14 status
- That is one less than required for up4! He can pk like
a mofo but all the other weaker up3s run from him, never
giving him the last status that he -deserves-. One such
stingy bastard is named Catigan. He stays cloako constantly
and only comes in my room when he does that annoying monk
Touch of Death.
Another character undeserving of the status he has is Nisyou.
He practically never logs anymore (I can and would cap him
if he did).
The point of this story with fake names is that here, on EoD,
a PK (PLAYER -KILLING-) MUD, you get capped sometimes by people
that are stronger and more deserving of the status! I can cap
(*thinks*) every up3. I can kill them all. The -only- problem is
that once they see me, the quit and relog a smaller (or out of range)
character. This is annoying. I could have been up4 by 20 hours. Now,
after 4 or 5 additional logged hours, people still run from me.
The last thing I'd like to touch upon is calling legit status fights
feeding, and using feeding (against rules) as a way to explain their
lack of pk interest. If you guys want to stuck, stuck, stuck and
slowly get past me by being the cheapest assholes ever, that would
show that you pansies belong on an RP MUD, -NoT- a Godwars Pk MUD.

Why all of a sudden did Cloakofdarkness get changed?
It now takes a WHOLE lot more mana to sustain. Come on,
it shouldn't take that much mana. It was good the way it
was but you could change it just not so much mana. I was
able to go through Final Fantasy with spawn invis and was
able to kill them all twice before I hit 100k mana which I
would come out of spawn invis. Maybe Cloakofdarkness does
need to be more mana but the amount that it is now is just
insane.

I say Berserk is stupid. Just give every class some unique but equal attacks
It's so fucking boring to fight someone using the same attack they have. Why
not be able to backstab and curse and all that other fun stuff that pk is truly
about. I say fuck Berserk and just balance out all class attacks and skills

I agree with malp, but untill those skills are put in
those classes that need berserk to stand a chance at least
eat pill decent chance need berserk. so put berserk back in till
there are ideas/suggestions on what each class should get and
those various skills are coded in.

Just continually using the same thing over and over. The classes should

Nicuramar's Opinion:
Nicuramar agrees with Malp on the fact that berserk does
make PK pretty tasteless. It should stay out. BUT, only
on one condition, I think more powers need to be added to
the powerless classes (i.e. Undead Knight). Without a
diverse selection of powers, PK then becomes boring and
makes me WANT to use berserk more.

Alright, we FUCKING NEED BERSERK BACK! Worshipping Marcus is
useless without berserk, we don't get our extra attacks. An up2
just beat me while still in Poor. I'm an upgrade3 with 665k hp
and all worships and everything and he still beat me. Oh, and
by the way, class attacks do NOTHING past upg2, 9k per 1-2 rounds
does shit to someone with over 500k hp. Please, do SOMETHING, this
is bullshit

I do not mind either way about berserk however...
Class powers need to him more the bigger you are!
You can base it on lots of things:
-Might rate
-hitroll
-status
-worships
-legends
As long as an up4 wraith's darktouch hits the same as an
up1 wraiths, it sucks. If all the class attacks hits depended
on that stuff, it'd rock and berserk'd suck.

They are WAY over powered. For example: Nisyu has like 700 hit/dam
less than me and like 300 less Damcap. But for some reason, he still beats me.
He also has like 1000 ac less than me. And I also shadowflare him with all
5 of them that i'm able to use, but I still lose. At 110k shadowflare, Him
having less hit/dam, Damcap, and AC, don't you think that I should be the one
who wins?
-Shrug- Well, just like to point out that UK's have little more power than most
others and they should be lowered a tad.

Please mention that I have almost 80k more hp than you
powerword stun you multiple times, and get off more berserks
Than you do shadowflares, my marcus gives me 7 extra
attacks than you get a round, therefore i do an ass load
More damage to you, Spawn isnt a worship for immense power

Yeah, sure, you do have more hp but that shouldn't count for that much.
my melee should do more damage than yours because my hit/dam is higher
and with your powerword stun (freeze) wouldn't really matter because my
hit/dam is higher than yours and do more damage like i said before. You
should lose.
Okay, recap:
My hit/dam is higher hence more damage on melee
My AC is higher hence lower damage from you
My Damcap is higher hence a little more damage towards you.
It just seems confusing to me on how you still win.

plus berserk, which is like extra 50k damage which is 85k extra damage
Than you do every round look, think what u want man, maybe u should
Switch to marcus and use berserk, you might win.

You dont get off all 5, you hit maybe 3 in the whole fight
I get off nearly 5-6 berserks, 5x50k is 250k
Not to mention nearly 50k a round, 10 rounds x 50k is 500k
250k +500k equals 750k. Then one more berserk and one more round
is 850, 25k more hp than u have.
So my 850k to ur 550k, I think the numbers show mine beats urs

and the disabling berserk for a week is another mess up

Okay, this is a great MUD and I want to try and help get the pbase up.
I also play a ROM MUD with a lot of people. I'll post a note to those
who like GodWar MUDs and hopefully they can spread the word
through other MUDs that they play. Hopefully this idea of mine will
