This site is a huge MUD resource and a good place to start for most
MUD related ideas.</dd>

<dd>This site contains some excellent archives of the MUD-DEV mailing list
a truly excellent list for high quality discussion on MUD development.
There are also a number of links to quality MUD sites.</dd>
<dt><a href="http://ftp.game.org/">ftp.game.org</a></dt>
<dd>Not only the site of a pretty advanced codebase - SMAUG - this is also
the site to visit for other codebases that have been released into the
wild.</dd>
<dt><a href="http://developer.circlemud.org/">The Ceramic Mouse</a></dt>
<dd>The developer's site for CircleMUD, the only specific developers site for
MUDs.</dd>
<dt><a href="http://discworld.imaginary.com:5678/">Discworld MUD</a></dt>
<dd>Unless you are familiar with Terry Pratchett's work, this will seem
a little (well maybe a lot) strange, especially the bit about the
cabbages.</dd>

for a bit of a revolution in the industry and for that they are all
