Desc You are at a fork in the primitive trail in the forest.  From here there
are a number of directions you can go.  The eastern and southern trails seem
a little more foreboding.  The trail to the north does seem a bit brighter

Desc This a north south bound trail in the forest.  To the south the trail
seems to grow darker and it looks as if the sun will eventually be blocked
out totally by the trees.  Skeletons and bodies lie scatered around the
ground.  The trees have grown through some of the corpses making them seem
like an actuall growth of the tree.

Desc You have reached a dead end in the trail.  Here no light at all pierces
the forest canopy.  Things seem to move right outside your vision but it is
hard to tell with the amount of light.  The carnage and blood are think in
this dead end.  You cannot walk without stepping in some gore.  Several
skulls are on the floor and they seem to stare with blank eyes.

Desc A trail is here that travels east.  Farther down the trail the light
seems to diminish greatly.  The thick smell of death comes from the trail. 
You can see several corpses that litter the ground.  Some seemed to be still

Desc The light is dark here.  But you can still make out the gore and blood
that covers the ground.  You can scarcely make out a spot that hasn't been

few of them that have remained after countless years.

giant trees.  There is hardly any light here.  The darkness swirls around
you and the forest seems to be alive with creatures.  Tree limbs are broken
and snapped off as if two giants had been wrestling here.  Also there are
piles of bodies some as high as your eye level.  Blood runs from them like a
waterfall.

Desc Another fork is here in the forest.  Two paths lead off one to the north
and one to the west.  The light seems to fade the farther you look down the
paths.  Until eventually they are swallowed up by the darkness.  Blood seeps
around your boots and pools at the entrance to the two paths.  It would seem
that even the trees themselves were bleeding.

Desc At this portion of the trail all the light is blocked out by the

your feet almost as if you were walking in a shallow pool.

a wall of impassible vines.  The vines have deadly looking thorns

under the weight of the bodies but still hold true.

or opponents at them.  Some bodies still lay transfixed onto some of the
sharper branches.
