The reason you can't kills mobs for now is that base rom uses weapon skill
percentages to determine if a mob gets hit and since there are no weapons
you probably wont be hitting anything until that gets changed. But Im back now
so Ill be able to take out the exp and all the stuff.

Alright, theres been a couple minor changes. Most important are
those regarding the mobs. There are several new act flags that
describe how the mob fights during combat. These are:
ACT_ANIMAL - its an animal. Not too intelligent, just fights
ACT_CIVIALIAN - your regular kind of guy. Fights, but doesnt do
any fancy moves or anything (no eye gouges, sweeps, etc)
ACT_WARRIOR - a warrior. Will use all the skills availible, quite
intelligently, but no ki attacks!
ACT_KIWARRIOR - same as a warrior, but uses ki moves too!
Thats that. There may be others (such as saiyan), but this is a start.

I've removed (well, increased) the limits on hp, ki and PL. They
can go very, very high now (1 billion for hp/ki, 1.5 quatrillion for PL).

all saiyans and halfbreeds, well, dbx muds at least, give them ssj3
and Mr. Satan was a LOT weaker than Buu
all he did was convince Buu to not kill everyone

play here BEFORE we're open, and you don't build here...
we builders put A LOT of time into our areas, and while
we are open to suggestions we will not tolerate you
putting our hard work down, nor will we be ordered
around by you as to what we are to do. Things are how
they are for a reason.
You were allowed to play here because you were thought
to be intelligent, and we hoped you would help in
adding thought and insight to the game. If this open
bickering and fighting continues.... perhaps you will
find you are not allowed here until we are open for
play.
Also, you're here to find bugs and help give ideas
as said before, but don't think you will keep anything
that you gain before we open because you aren't going
to. You are helping to build the mud, not giving
yourself an edge on everyone else who comes after you.
(Although knowing the areas well and where things are
is definately an edge)
Simply put, stop the bickering, and while you're here,
conduct yourselves appropriately. By the way, I was

Seems you mortals have begun to bore the kai's and those watching over things.
We have decided to try and livin you weaklings up a bit. This weekend, either
friday or saturday, there will be a tournament on the cliff behind the waterfall
on earth The two of you that impress the immortals the most will be given
clan. Remeber i did not say the anythign about the two that go the farthest
just those that look like they could become true fighters one day. Between
now and then i would sugguest those that wish to enter to train hard. THis isnt
like the sad excuse the humans call a tournament, if you come be prepared
to fight with all you have or you my find yourself talking to enma-dio while
the winner is selebrating.

In the next day or two there will be a help for clans (rules ect). This will
mean that I amgoing to allow land ownership and houses on this land (though
clan may take your land from you). The ownership feature will happen after the
tournament has ended and the clans are what I feel they need to be to fight
for something like that. In order to have a clan you will have to have an imm
that will be your clan god. DO NOT HERASS MY IMMS ABOUT THIS. Some can
not be clan gods yet due to certain things while some may choose just to tell
you that so they may let who they would take be a secret til/if they win.
I would sugguest writing a note to the imm you would like to have back you (note
i said A NOTE not two or three or four). To try and reserve a spot in the
tournament send me a personal note (thats on board 5) saying you would like
to compete. You do not have to wait for an answer from an imm as i will not
allow anyone withone imm backing to compete (sorry but if you dont get backed
dont take it personal im limiting the number of people they may back to keep
it fair for those great people that help bring youi this mud). I will be
creating a help tourny file sometime soon to that will be updated with the
rules for tournaments from now on. If your not sure check the help to see if
its something you want to compete in or if you'd rather just wait and try to
join one. THe help will also include all prizes to be given out for the
tournament. The notes to me and to my imms must be rp notes. If you havnt rp'd
before dont start getting mad because its ok but you should be sure to include
a small bit about yourself (in the note to me) so that when you char comes out
to fight i can help the rp along with something about you. I DO NOT want
to see the same background i have seen in other dbz muds with" im a saiyan
icers killed my folks and my family and now i wanna kill them all." It needs to
be detailed but not to long. I would expect anyone not in the current rp (new
or for whatever reason) to give me a decent background for thier char, dont
spam me though. 5-10 lines should do it. Better backgrounds will give you
a better shot of getting imm backing as i will be letting my imms see them for
when they pick who they back. More details will come either later tonight or
(more then likly) tomarrow when I talk to most of my staff.

Serurii won the last tourny and she was a BIG underdog against koa,trezin, and
hama.

For those that havn't been around when the new helps where finished they are:
help clan - Shows the rules for getting/running/being a member of a clan
help clanhall - Info on how clans may purchase a hall for its members.

help house - More information about buying a house as a player.
help tourny - Help that will tell the details of the next tournement planned
help earthwish - with the final ball being given to a player at the tournament
this help is good for helping those that might be thinking of trying to collect
the balls in deciding what they may wish for. Anything that is not on there can
be asked to an imm but preferable vegeta if he is on.

Ok this is to clear up alot of things. First off this is an rp mud people
and that means that you should try to stay IC as much as possible. I know
havnt the rp strictly enforced would help but at this moment it would honestly
do more harm then good. Second, alot of people have said taht im to quick
to delete or freeze people. Those that have been deleted or frozen did
deserve it. As of yet i have banned no one from the game. Due to those
players that help out by starting rp's and such i have noticed alot of the
disruptive and immature players not around. While some people would be sad
I am glad to see that the mud has developed such a strong core of rp'ers
and hopefuly will continue to grow as the childish people are gotten rid
of. I've said this a thousand times but some people dont seem to hear me.
This is an rp mud above all, above pk, above raising your pl. If you do not
like to rp i dont ask that you make a deep background for your player and
keep in the mix just try to stay as IC as you can. If your trying to
follow the rules i dont mind if you rp sucks at times:). Last part is
about people being rather mean to my imms. When an imm tells you they dont
know somehting or dont have time to talk leave them be. After all there is
no great imm bar we sit around telling storys in, if they are here they are
working to make the place more enjoyable for the players. People who are
asking or stating things should try to be atleast non hostile if you cant
squeeze something nice in it. As of the end of the tourny this weekend the
level of rp will become slightly more restricted. It will not be enforced
completely yet but we will be tightening up on it. You all knew this was an
rp mud from the start and that i would not put up with childishness.

This has recently nearly resulted in my death.
See this, imms:
Joe fights something, is reduced to 10ki before he can
save
enter a flee command.
Between the time that his command is processed, and his
actually flee, he gets attacked and dodges.
Now he doesn't have the ki to flee, and he won't
be able to flee anymore, because the ki drained from dodging
or blocking will prevent flight.
I seriously reccomend removing this, or altering it.

Ok, I understand you think that me and devilry are multiplaying
we aren't. I have a network with three computers running off a cable
modem. he was at my house all weekend and this week he'll be at his
house so you can see that we are not multiplaying cause he gets on at
different times than me during the week all the time. And I don't see
how we could have multiplayed because I CAN'T type that fast. and if

Subject Why the MUD should be based on the Japanese original~

List of reasons:
1. Most fans of Dragon Ball who are old enough to RP
maturely are familiar with the Japanese original.
2. Most fans of the dub are not old enough to RP maturely.
These are the people who make up more than 90% of all the
other Dragon Ball MUDs' pbases.
3. The Japanese version had much higher quality dialogue
and better quality content (not to mention more mature content)
than the highly altered dub.
4. The attack names sound cooler in Japanese. The American names
just plain suck.
5. The cartoon comes from Japan, therefore there's something to
be positively said about keeping the inherent quality and names
of the Japanese original as opposed to the greatly dumbed down
heavily censored American dub. After all, there are a whole lot
of fans of the original version, MANY more than you think. Plus
by using the Japanese as MUD canon instead of the crappy American
dub, you attract these fans who are DEFINITELY way more mature
and RP way better than the young dub fans.
6. Due to the dialogue and plot being better in the Japanese
original, you have a much higher quality source to draw on
than you draw from now and the quality of the RP's content will
be vastly improved as a result.
7. Using the japanese original will not cause a drop in pbase.
Fans of dubs are not discouraged at all by hearing terms in
Japanese, especially with Dragon Ball where even dub fans have
been exposed to the Japanese terms with the better quality fan
sites. Putting -jin after every race name, having attacks in
Japanese will not drive dub fans away, as I have clearly witnessed
this fact on a few Dragon Ball MUDs that used Japanese attack
names for some of the techniques, most notably the crappy Dragon
Ball Series. The few ones mature enough to play here will view
the RP environment and low number of bad players as more than
a sufficent tradeoff for getting used to some Japanese words
that they weren't completely familiar with yet. They'll adjust
just fine.

I've been running quests lately, for those of you not
on when they've happened, and I will continue to do
so... but I need some things from you guys. First of
all FEEDBACK. Good or bad, every bit of feedback you
give will go into making the quests better and more
extensive. If you see something you don't like, tell
me, I won't flip out and smite you... (unless it's
a full-moon, then watch out)
Second, RP. We NEED good RP'ers to encourage other
people to RP. This will make newbies want to stay.
And just on a brief note... there is a BIG difference
between being EVIL and being an JERK. Evil players
will RP being Evil and do spiteful things, Jerks
are those who run around being stupid with newbies
and stealing kills and killing just for eq. If you
see a newbie, please do your best to help them out.
That being said... there's a new quest. Hopefully
we don't crash again, but I'm placing 3 furry things
on 3 random mobs in the game. The first to find
them and bring ALL 3 back to me wins... they will
get a very nice prize. Seach, trade, behead... do
whatever you must, but get me those furry things.

i just posted a note to the morts and now they should
stop asking for free eq. If they ask, tell me, i'll handle
it. General policy should be, THEY AREN'T GIVEN ANYTHING.
If you are an IMM that's allowed to run quests, then you
are allowed to give reasonable rewards out for your quest.
Nothing should exceed -75 ac, no more than 5 trains, and
no more than 5000 zenni. Raising stats, PL, rage, giving
ssj (transforms), or anything greater than described
above is inappropriate.

I was singing a Rap song on Music and Hama gets mad at me.
He walks inside the room and says "Do somthing to make me kill you."
Hama has hated me from other MUDS so hes always wanted to kill me.
He spams me several times with the same exact text as above.
I test out a social called "Zerbert" on him, and he kills me.
I do not beleive it is in the rules to kill someone for that.
Ever since I started here this MUD has not been newbie friendly to me.
Noone will answer my questions and everyone just yells at me.

Heres the thing I am a very swapmed builder the resson no new areas are
in is becuse I cant link them to the game with out vegetas say so, and I am
currently working on 6 areas at once. I may sound like I am being a dork or

I am building for you players and or trying to quest or have an RP. The new
area I have just finished will link 3 new areas to the city area. I have
had help finishing this area so now it is done. I will link it to an are
a when I get things set up and ready. I hop you all understand what I am
trying to say here and wish you all the luck in the world to have fun here
that is what I am trying to do for you not me but YOU so plaese dont think
I am an ass or childish or anything. I am just trying to get things done
and this deal with frost is he wanted an ultra scouter and I was told NOT
to give them out anymore. Please bare with me if you see me RPing and stuff
join in I give rewards for good RP and look for the best RP I can find.
The only time I do RP though is when I have writers block, most of you dont

Well, I hate to break it to you, but there's a couple of things
I might as well point out so you don't end up doing something stupid
that you might (emphasis on might, because I doubt it) regret later.
1) First: I've already talked to Vegeta about my problems. It's been handled
and will be taken care of - I've got little left to bitch about regarding
them.
2) Second: Yes, I will agree that I was out of line, but that's the way
that I get when stuff like this happens. I tend to try to not be that way if
I can help it, but as you know, stuff happens.
3) Third: Don't go out on a powertrip trying to deal with me, Efrin. Not only
that, next time you post a note to try to deal with rules and a player,
maybe you should see what's already occured on the mud beforehand.
4) And fourth, addressing a problem that was told to me: Apparently you said to
tell everyone to kill me (Frost) on sight, IC or non-IC. Now, you're the one
breaking your own rules, and I suggest you deal with yourself before trying
to take other people down with you.

My log site now has been updated,
with the frankly incredible log from last night of the Frost VS Me/Kid fight.
I've also changed the formatting of the files somewhat so that they don't go
over the edge of the screen when viewing. When you click on a link, a download
dialogue box will appear, to view the files, just click on 'open from current
location' then click ok, and the log should open in your standard word processor
after a few seconds of downloading. Or a few milliseconds for you lucky peeps
with broadband ;) how I envy you.
You should read the log, its really good, trust me :D

My friends,
to those who allready felt or seen it, and to those who ignored
the signs: Danger is Arriving!!
As many Fighters have notice strange things start happening the
last days. Unknown creatures appear and disappear, while innocent
children are brutally slaughtered. Today Cyric,Pyro,Waylander and
myself witnessed the death of a child, which with the last breath
tried to warn us. Shortly after this Cyric died mystiriously ,
while a strange,evil but extremly mighty power droped his dead body
at the arena. Killings like this one happened to other players as well,
and will happen aswell in the future if we don't unite. Pyro and myself
did some investigation, during which i died, and had the opportunity to
speak with the Great Kai. The Kai obviously worried about the situation,
warned me that a Great Unknown Evil is approaching earth from space.
The battle with this evil will determine the future of our planet!!
So far judging from the acts of this Evil, his power is enormous, and
the only possibility for us is training and again training. We need to
be prepared, and our supreme Fighters must stand against this evil united.
This my friends is not a joke, neither did i wrote this note in panic or
anger about my death... the only reason i wrote this note is ... FEAR!

Yesterday (3/20/02) I was RPing with Waylander and Xizix.
I was playing the criminal and leaving a path of dead bodies across Satan city.
I was wandering around killing everyone in the area short officers and shoppers
Xizix caught up to me
I bought some senzus to get transported to the square
I went to the real estate building and closed the door behind me
I told Xizix that if he found me in a minute that I would give him 5 senzu beans
I told Xizix if he found me in a minute that I would give him 5 senzus
He didn't find me in time and I went wandering in the mountains
On my way I met Waylander and said "stall xizix"
I arrived in the mountains and Waylander told me
that Nameks had to stick togethe

I gave them 2 minutes and Waylander found me in time
We began RPing and mid-fight we each got hit on the head
with a drop of blood
confused, we notice a dead body fall from the sky
That ended out fight, and we both decided it wasn't me
or him
Then Xizix arrived with his friend Rumor and started trying to RP me
Waylander and I told him what had happened and everyone was sitting there
when we got the message "you notice a bloody mass falling toward the
Sparring Sphere." We all went there and there was a corpse at the Welcome sign
that had a note that said something to the effect of "Beware I approach"
carved on his chest. We were dicussing what to do when I was
suddenly in the mountains. I received the message "you have been slain in
cold blood" and found myself on snake way
I followed Snake Way and got back alive, lost in the mountains
Waylander said he had found my corpse with all my eq and everyone
got to one place to talk
During the middle of it Xizix wandered off and got killed
At this time we were back at the welcome sign and we saw his corpse plummet
into our midst. He walked up to us not long after and said that he had been
myteriously killed (sounds familiar) and got rezzed
We all went to the mall, powered down, and removed all eq
at this point someone (I don't remember who) accused me of all of this
and everyone powered up menacingly. I went back to welcome sign
and waited there... nothing much more happened for a while, and I signed out
When I got back on, Everyone was standing at the welcome sign near a dead body
passing around a note. I don't remember the exact words, but it said danger
is here. then, Cyric decided he didn't believe, said so and left about 4
seconds later "you hear something's death cry" wait 4 more seconds
"you see something golden plummet from the sky" 1/2 sec later
Cyric's head lands wait 4 Cyric's body lands wait 20 Cyric has arrived
Cyric looted himself and somehow decided to believe our story
This was about 3:45 A.M. and everybody short myself and Nemlah
quits. We decided to investigate. We wandered around, scanning occasionally,
and got to the lake. There were no fish in the lake whatsoever and
when we went to leave, there was a single bright yellow fish. I wanted to
kill it because it was suspicious, but he said no. A bit later, the fish
attacked me, unprovoked and I easily killed it. I took a step east and I heard
something's death cry. I went back and saw Nemlah's corpse laying there
when Nemlah arrived, he had learned Fusion from the Grand Kai and we
both got the message a Demon dissapears. Then we fused and wandered around
a bit, and Nemlah told me that the Grand Kai had told him that something
Evil Approachs or something like that. I then got instructions and started
Writing this

Well, I thought we had gone through the whole immortal
power-trip abuse thing, but I suppose I was wrong.
Today, on March 21, 2002, at exactly 11:58 PM, I was slayed.
Why? Because an invisible immortal used the echo command to say,
in all caps:
STOP TRAINING WITH SWEEP OR I WILL SLAY YOU
or something to that affect.
Now, I realize that this could be a valid argument - if sweep
is broken, don't use it. I said that I would not stop using sweep
without a valid reason. Yes, I do realize that sweep does NOT hit ANYONE,
even if they are flying or not - this is a bug, I think, and I have told
any immortal on that I think would be able to tell Antor, so that he may
fix it at some time. That is, if they listen. Most of them don't.
I explained, nicely and calmly, that all he had to do was ask me politely
to stop using it, instead of yelling at us both and threatening to slay us,
and I would stop.
Then, he set my skills down. I commented on this on the OOC channel, and then
as I began to write this note, I was slayed, as mentioned aforehand.
Well, mostly this is to explain why, again, you have such a bad immortal staff
(excluding some, such as Trunks, MajinFred, Parn, Antor, Efrin (who does his
best, despite our differences), and others), and how it really should
be looked into. And also, this note is here to say that I am through with this
mud, unless I am given extreme incentive to return, which I doubt will happen.
There were witnesses to this, them being these players:
Xizix, Telstarin, Pyro, Riken, and Chris.
I am leaving now. I doubt that I will be back. And I hope that the others
who agree with me will reevaluate their own reason for staying here, in this
sad place that tries to accomodate the wanting of roleplay of the many,
and succeeding in it very little.

1. Coming up with ideas is a hard one, but I know for a fact that fighting
with a set powerlevel which is stated before the rp begins is what I
enjoy most out of RPs. I especially enjoy it if it is a player with a set
personality it is that I am fighting, which is one of the reasons why I am
enjoying my Majin rp so much - I get to fight even my allies and flex my power.
2. RPs can last for various amounts of times, intermissions between the start
of an RP and the end can last for up to a week, as it has done with the Majin
however, things happening during the week have been posted on the stories
board, to let other rps know it is still going on and giving them updates on
what is happening.
3. I like it when enemies have set powerlevels, stated oocly at the start,
with the Chakhae rp, this was not done, and it decreased my enjoyment somewhat
as I did not know oocly what sort of things I was capable of doing to it.
Enemies in my opinion need to be at a powerlevel higher than the strongest
player that is going to participate, or perhaps be equal to it. Although the
weaker players should not be entirely useless, and the enemy should ideally
be powered down at the start and not start fighting seriously until someone
who matches his power attacks it.
Of course, most of these are suggestions for a single rp, and not all future
rps, if all of them followed this guideline, they would eventually all end the
same, and that would be boring.

Bacchus didn't know where the jail was, so I told him I'd take him there
I did, we killed Felipe, broke the key, so I gave him mine
he went through the jail killing inmates, and we left
on the way back, I stopped to kill a celebrity
I chose Mr. Satan
I attacked him, and Bacchus was in my group
he hit Mr. Satan once before he realized that it was his father
he fled, and I killed Mr. Satan alone
I went back to heal, but I was blind, so I couldn't go through the door
I said something about it, and he threatened my life for killing his dad
I said (quote) "your dad, huh... I didn't realize" and healed
He threatened my life over OOC again for killing his dad and I told him
that I gained align from it (which may be true, I'm not sure
I didn't check) and he threatened my life again.
I finished healing and went to the welcome sign
I typed out " 'Good morning, spawn of evil " but before I pressed
ENTER, he attacked me. I realize that I deserved it, for doing that,
but I didn't feel like dying, so I went ssj so that he would stop
bashing me, and I fled and hid
(where I won't tell you, but I'm still here at the time I wrote this note)
I don't know about you, but I find all of this funny
I didn't write this to complain or to get him in trouble, but

One Day During The Second Millenium
While the hot midday sun was shining upon
Dems head, he continued his hard and
roughless training killing anything moving
in the forest. Suddenly a metallic sparkle
catched his attention. Distracted and kind
of annoyed he left his training partners,
unlucky deers commonly, seeking out the
cause of this disturbance.
"Reveal yourself, and leave this area
whoever you are!" he shouted, while his eyes
scanned the area carefully.
For some minutes only the sound of the wind.
was breaking the silence, when suddenly a
deep computerised voice could be heard:
"Target aquired, engaging ennemy!".
Dems, sensing the danger, tranformed
instantly into his first form, shrouded in
a golden aura, with his long golden hair,
falling slightly over his face.
Then the metallic sparkles turned into a
form, a body cycling around Dems at inncre-
dible speed. Dems stayed calm, trusting his
strength. Suddenly with no further warnings
the metallic body changed curse, stearing
right at Dems, with a raised fist ready to
hit. Fractions of seconds before the uknown
metallic ennemy would hit, Dems ducked away
avoiding the fatal blow, hiting the oponent
himself with an elbow. The air filled with
energy, the elbow penetrated into the
head of the robot almost spliting it. For
a few seconds none of the bodies moved,
then Dems stood up, looked behind him
,smiling with a devilish grin, at the
uknown body and reverted to his normal
form. Examining the remains of what attacked
him, he was quite surprised of the nature
of his opponent. The body obviously belonged
to some kind of anthropomorph robot.
Dems hit though, had ripped of a huge part
of the head, the area around the right eye.
Dems took the piece wich still had the
eyeball on i, and was quite surprised as he
realized that it was still functional.
Looking through it, Dems turned to a bush
where a movement draw his attention.
There a small rabbit revealed himself and.
the device that Dems was holding showed a
cirlce surrounding it, and beneath the
circle the sentence:
Estimated target powerlevel : 1,5
An evil smile drawed on to Dems face, as
he said to himself:
Interesting, and quite usefull!

We were in battle and pyro comes in and just follows me and tells me to group
him. he didnt even ask, so i told him no. then him and angelina started growling
at each other and then pyro spams some crap about the liver while were battling,
i told him to stop and then angelina and pyro was fighting so i dont wanna hear
anything from pyro since he was fighting a group member and spammed the hell
outta my battle. he deserved to die.

As most of you know I remade for the sole purpose of the android
invasion, in the time that I have been back I have spent hours just
training you people, and very little rp'ing, now I am sick of doing
that and it is the reason I have deleted before. Therfore I have come
up with a new system of training. If you want to train with me you
have to rp with me or one of a few people who I trust to not lie about
it for free training, It will go like this, 45 minutes of rp for 15 of me
tanking general lucas, I must have proof of the rp though. If you
think screw that I'll just train myself for an hour, think about this
53k per hit off soldiers with max wisdom compared to around
300k per hit off cyric. Now do the math
gt 53k with bash taking 4 seconds. In one hour you could gain
795,000,000pl compared to lucas. 300k per hit at 3 or less
seconds since I will be bashing equals an average of 6mill
in those 15 minutes...think about it. Post back if interested in rp
I will know longer train for free.

because of the fact that is bores me immensely and I do
not like playing games where I am getting bored, as such
I won't be doing code training or even PL gaining or skill
training, however I will be RPing that I have gotten stronger

As Iann trained himself up for the coming of Malenstro,
he also attempted to learn and enhance techniques.
In the forest, Iann is fighting a brown squirrel that
ws obviously on some strong steroids, frustration takes
him as it usually does when he cannot gain an advantage.
The only thing keeping him going is the embarrasment he
suffered at the hands of Malenstro. Because of it, he will
not stop until he can defeat him, even if he dies trying.
But with only a small arsenal of techniques his chances
are slim, he has developed finger beams and eyebeams, though
his use in them is still elementary, he strives to gain
the ability most useful by his kind, the destructo disk,
also called Kien-zan.
As he fights, throwing beams, energy balls, everything he
has, he finds that it could be possible to launch several
energy balls at several targets....he then remembers
the battle against Malenstro and remembers seeing several
fighters do such a thing....scatter shot they called it.
So he attempted many times over and over again to succesfully
pull it off. But he couldnt focus enough, the frustration
comes and he just goes all out, throwing every ounce of
his energy at the small yet powerful squirrel...then..
he actually does it and hits a nearby herd of deer and a fores
gyre. This causes everything to attack him and he has to run
because it had taken everything out of him.
But he had done it....

When we last left off, Malenstro was trapped in a void of air.
Completely deprived of all his senses except thought and
sound. As he continues to live in that place his sanity is
stripped further and further away.
Malenstro has spent what feels like centuries in his death,
he has lost all ability to feel, he talks to himself, and sometimes,
gets answers, and he has begun to hallucinate.
Sometimes if he is lucky he remembers being a human,
traveling with his friends on some trip or another
but more, and more often he remembers a Male/Female
saiyan with red fur pounding away at his body ruining
the only thing that was keeping him connected to
his humanity. He often screams just to try and hear
anything but there is only silence.
After another 2 years have passed Malenstro has begun to
reawaken from his insanity. We don't know why, or how
but Malenstro has once again begun to feel the flow of the
world shift in his favor.

Ok, first off, hats off to the creators of this game as
it is the absolute best DBZ game I've ever played. I
really like being here and I think it's a great game.
I would just like to remind you guys up there, that
these games are meant to be FUN. Now, I do agree with
many of the changes (even though it makes it 50 times
harder to gain pl), but I think we should still gain
using beam release and ball release. Please note that
not EVERYONE used this in sparring. It really sucks now
that I have to choose between gaining PL and getting
energy beam up. Really, why should I even use energy
beam or energy ball anymore ? I'll never gain pl by
using them....
Gaining PL is the main goal of EVERYONE in this game. TO
be the best. Everyone spends time gaining pl. RP is thrown
into it and is also very important, but at heart, gaining
pl is everyone's main goal. So, by eliminating a gain when
using these skills... you've made them obsolete. Why was
that change made anyway ?

Firstly the combat system:

* Allow fighters to store a charge for ki-moves before hand
trade off would be that untill you release or cancel your
ki will reflect it. (put 100ki into and energy ball) and
ki will at best be your max minus that 100.

* Make a grab command. Grab could be used to immobilize a target
,set the target up for another move, COuld also work in group
situations. Having a grab fail or broken would exact a long
recovery time plus your balance is shot to zero in an instant.

Secondly creation system:
.
* COnsider making perks and disads a part of creating a character.
Perks add perks and disads add disads. The balancing factor is
that each perk has a + value associated say 2,1,5, or even 10.
and disads have like a nevative value, -2,-1,-5,etc. When all
all is said and done the tally must not be greater than 0. This
could also add validity to my earlier suggestion on races and
skills. SOme races could get some perks for free and would also
get automatic disads. Races like humans and Aliens could get
the ability to get free perks to make up for the fact they gain
have no real power.

Alik raises his finger one more time, it begins to glow faintly,
but again fades. Alik becomes enraged, and his eyes start to
glow a fiery red! As he lets out a scream of rage, two red beams
shoot from his eyes! Startled he steps back, watching the
beams cut through several trees, causing small animals to run in
fear. Alik chuckles...
"Heh, look at that..."
As he points towards a falling tree a red beam shoots from his finger
obliterating the tree before it hits the ground!
"Holy... I need to watch what I'm doing, I might kill somebody
I don't mean to."
Alik gives a malignant grin before flying off into the distance to
practice his new skills...

When he had traveled for ten days he stopped to rest at a spring.
He fell asleep dreaming of the great power he might find.
H was startled awake by some growling noises.
They seemed to come from all around him.
Naga leaped to his feet scaning around.
He detected about twenty diffenent power sources, large sources.
Just then, twenty mutants leaped from the bushes surrounding Naga.
Naga fought bravely but there were to many.
When all seemed lost, Naga surrounded and getting pumaled.
He hear someone yell "SCATTERSHOT!!".
All of a sudden a hundred ki blasts stuck each of the mutants.
Naga dazed looked up to see a figure standing above him.
With an out-strecthed arm the figure helped him up.
Naga said in amazement "That was awesome."
"How did you do that?" he asked.
The stranger responded "Weeks of training."
Naga asked "Can you teach me, sir?"
"Why not follow me." The stranger took Naga to a mountain near Korn's tower.
There he taught Naga in the ways of the Scattershot.
After about two months, Naga returned to his master.
Leaving saying only "Thank you and what is your name,sir?"

There is a Jackal in our midst so to say. One of his names are
Godeath. I know him from a previous mud and im sure people that
played that mud at the same time know who he is. The mud was
Dragon Ball Saga. His name on there was Sicks, DevilSicks, and
many more. He was a terror. He spammed the mud, hacked it, hacked
players and deleted them. He was banned from it many times yet
every time found a new way back.
Anyway. I am telling you all this as a warning. If you see him
or realize that he is playing under a different name, it is wise
to alert an Admin or someone that might be able to do something.
I know I am only a player and don't have any authority, but
if there was ever a time to listen to a player's warning, that
time is now. Godeath/Sicks is a very dangerous player and knows
what he is doing when it has to do with hacking and ruining
over-all playing for people that like to play here.

Sorry guy, but I just got word that if I continue to be online at the
rate im going, ill be 100 hours over my limit. (So much for unlimited access)
Well, im currently in the process of talking to my parents about an ISP that is

I agree with Green Bean on this one, we have all worked our asses off
to gain pl and whatnot and now were just gonna toss it away? Heh. I don't
think i can bring myself to do what i have done again. I just died a few
days ago and i am now doubting my own abiltiy to get SSJ4. And if the mud
pwipes i dont know if ill be back. Like i said, i have tried the new mud
and it is a lot different and some what harder. Then everyone has to reset
all the rp's they got going and everything. Oh, and i dont know about you,
but i know i dont want to be the one to tell Thaur that him saving over
3million Zenni was for nothing and he has to do it again. I am currently
building my own house, and i have put it on hold for now. That and my
training of ssj4. im gonna just watch and listen for now. I had a great rp
for my ssj4 transformation but i dont think anyone will be seeing it. Majinfred
saw some of it, but he will be the first and last prolly. Anyways, everyone
is gonna be very upset about this, and try telling Cyric that is 800+ hours
on this mud was for nothing. Or Terraco with his OMG amount of 1000+ hours.
I mean come on, this is gay. I know antor spent all his time on this, but....
i think its gay. Thats why i dont play DBS. and if the botter thing aint worked
out, everyone will be as strong as Data in little over a few months. I think
thats would be a insult to everyone who spent countless hours and a lot of
emontion and time to this damn mud.
Personally, i think this new mud can goto hell. I like this one and it should
stay, and remain the same.
Oh and for those of you who think i say this cuz i wont be #6 or whatever of
the list of hell, or cuz im strong, i am speaking for that very reason. I have
many alts and dont mind being weak again. But its the time i spent here that i
think about. All the time and then the imms snap their fingers and say lets
have a pwipe and make the mud better. Why cant you recode the existing mud?
i know thats a pain in the ass, but i think its better that having 2 muds.

To all this concerns,
The 25th annual Tenkaichi Boudoki will be held in the Championship Arena for
all Mortals interested. It will be a Role Play / code battle. There will be two
tournaments held, The Noobie Division, and the Veteran Division. Here is the
qualifying stats.
Noobie Division,
Must have less than 100 hours on the mud
Must be over a max of 20,000 pl.
Only 1 transformation is allowed
Must be under 100,000,000 base pl.
Veteran Division,
Must be over 100 hours on the mud
Must be over 100,000,000 base pl
No limit to transformations,
No limit of Powerlevel readings
Fusion is allowed, but if a fused fighter falls, both members are defeated.
Once fused, the fighters may separate only 3 times, and a fighter can only fuse
with one other. That means you cannot fuse with a fighter one battle and a
different fighter in a later battle.
General Rules,
No area attacks, (i.e. Spirit Bomb, Death Ball, Final all, Kame all, ect.)
No swearing
No peeing on the Arena Floor
The ways you lose,
Flee from combat,
Surrender from battle,
Be knocked out,
Hitting below the belt,
Crying during battle.
Now, the tournament will be a single elimation and there will be a qualifying
round.
The qualification for the Noobies,
Simple, you will be faced with a 5 mob mini tournament, if you defeat all the
mobs you advance to round two, round two is all the Noobies that advanced
will fight each other until 8 people are found to advance to the tournament. 4
rings of how ever many advance.
The qualification for the Veterans,
This is much harder, yet the same thing, a mini tournament of 3 mobs and the a
sudden death to find the 16 Veterans.
The winners,
The Noobie Division Champion will be awarded a cash prize of 1,000,000 zenni
and the runner up will be awarded 500,000 zenni and a free restring.
The Veteran Champion will be awarded the 'The Martial Arts Championship Belt'
and 1 of 3 awards, An Ultra Scouter with a free restring, 24 Mud hours in the
Time Room with a friend, or 5,000,000 zenni. The runner up will receive a free
restrung and 2,000,000 zenni.
Qualification rounds will be held until next week. At about 8pm-2am EST.
Send a Personal note to Serge to enter the qualifying rounds.

Subject The new DBA and why it's good~

I have to throw my support toward the new DBA on the other port.
The gaining system is much better than this one. Plus PL
being based on your stats is actually accurate to Dragon Ball,
because people with the same battle power might have it
distributed differently. It was said to be based on things
such as strength, stamina, speed (the dub makes speed out
to not be factored in, it's wrong), ki control, and
battle experience. Not to mention emotions play a factor
in it as well. Also, with that code, the MUD is actually levelless.
The system with gaining health/energy/trains at predetermined PLs IS
a level-based system because it's got specific numbers at
which HP, Ki, and trains "level up".
As for the people who've invested all that time into your characters, you
should be aware that this MUD is in beta. You have already been told that
there will be a pwipe before the MUD goes to full operation. Why should
you have a legit reason to complain when you were told right from the
get-go that this MUD is not final and there will be a pwipe at least
before the first full version? I don't understand why you people have
forgotten that.

Yea... Both Ports have ups and downs. Right now the major
flaw I see in the other port is botting. Antor said hes
fixed it, but I havent been back to check it out yet.
The real purpose of this note is to all the bitching about
a pwipe. I for one have over 300 hours, I'd imagine theres
some people with more than that, but thats a crapload of
hours. But when joining the MUD as Zaoden said, I knew
there may be a pwipe. There is always that risk on any mud.
LIVE WITH IT. Besides Big T-Money said we wouldn't have
one. Which just means he wants us to shut up about it.
So, I suggest we do.

In addition to the rules of fusion,
If you qualified as an individual, you may not fuse during the tournament, (This
rule does not apply to Thaur, Devel and Alik since the qualified before this was
posted) fused fighters must qualify as the fused fighter they will use in the
tournament. That means if Sayoh and Daro were to fuse, sand the qualified as
Darsay, they may not fight as Saydar at any time during the tournament.
Only 4 fusions per combat are allowed, if you exceed this rule you will be
ejected from the tournament. This rule applies for qualifying, you have only 4
fuses to defeat the 3 mobs set as round 1. If you defeat the 3 mobs and advance
and the Veteran Class exceeds over 16 fighters, you must fight the sudden
death with 4 fuses as well.
In the case that a fused warrior wins,
The prize is divided between the pair and the Scouter prize is void to fused
fighters. They may only choose from 5,000,000 zenni, and 24 hours in the time
room with each other.
This is usually not allowed in a normal tourney, but I am experimenting with
fusion in a tourney. I would like you opinion on the matter. Weather fusion
should be allowed in tourneys to come.

This is typing 'Power Base' or 'Power 25' Not 'Power max/100'
Veretans are to be higher than 280m in there 100% untransformed state.
You must quallify at these powerlevels, in the case of an android upgrading to
lets say imperfect, that is counted as a transformation and not base.
If you go over the limit after you quallify and before the tournament, that
is ok, but extream increase is not acceptable.

The other port is simply better -- really, its much, much
better. There is a lot more to do: more training options,
more skills, an interesting skill tree, random items (and
soon, areas), better transformations, a more playable
fighting system, more room for advancement, automatic
missions to go on to get missions points, zenni and loot
and more!
Also, I'm thinking of writing a script that will convert
old players to the new ones. The conversion won't be
perfect, but it will be better than a pwipe, which everyone
is so fanatically against.

To all this concerns,
The 25th annual Tenkaichi Boudoki will be held in the Championship Arena for all
Mortals interested. It will be a Role Play / code battle. There will be one
tournament held, but with a few added classes. These are as follows....
The Noobie Division, The Fighters Division, The Veteran Division, and The
Top 10 Division. Here is the way the classes will be figured.
Bascally, I will have a special machine that can rate your punch. Every player
who wishes to try out is asked to send a personel note to me,
(Serge) or tell me inperson. I will write down all the names and have a few
quallifying rounds set per day. You MUST quallify in a round. The quallfiying
will be listed on a 2 day advanced sechudle. Meaning, i will list the dates
and time the rounds will be held. The quallifiyng round is simple, just
'Attack' the machine 5 times (At power 25). Your damage will be averaged
and scored. The average amount will decide what division you are in. Once
the qualls have ended, there will be a second, sudden death round where
all the fighters in their class will fight each other for 1 of 8 spots in the
auctual tournament. There will be 4 quallifying dates for each class, if you
do not show then your name is scratched off the list and a new player will
be joined in. I have redone this due to one statement made by a player,
"Do you really expect me to beat Data?" They said. So I thought and
decided a lot of ppl dont want in if a super power is automatically gonna
win. This is why im redoing the tourny. Also, Fusion is NOT allowed in any
Division. I have set requirements for the players enlisted into a class. They
are as follows...
N00bie Division
There will be NO transformations allowed.
The only energy attack allowed are Ebeam and Eball.
Fighters Division
Only 1 transformation is allowed, this means Kaioken, Droid Rage,
Upgrade, Evolution, SSJ1, Icer form 1, If you have SSJ2, you will not be
allowed to pass your first transformed state. Androids and Bios, if you
Upgrade or Evolved, that counts as a transformation. No ifs ands or buts
about it.
Veteran Division
There is no limit on transformations
No area attacks
Top 10 Division
This is the class where all your favorite 'Super Powers' can fight each
other.
There is no limit to anything except Area Attacks. None are allowed at
anytime.
General Rules,

they will be the Champs partner in the room.
All players who participate in the acutual tournament will recive 10,000
zenni for you great Rping skills and time.

This is an ICly tournament, so Rp is in affect. For all the people who do not
use 'osay' and just use 'say' for everything they say, during the tournament
you must state weither it is said in ICly talk (In Character) or OOCly (Out Of
Character). **Please refer to the help files 'ooc, ic and roleplay** Those of
you who are dead ICly, you will be allowed to enter but you must have a
halo, so in your description please note that there is a halo over your head.
The transformations, Like I said, N00bies cannot transfrom, so this does
not apply. For those of you who are allowed to transform in battle, listen up.
Since this is an Rp, you cannot transform into a level that you do not have
ICly, (example, say Dudo has SSJ3 and is fighting in the Veteran Class, he
is allowed to go ssj3 by the rules, but since he did not go SSJ2 yet ICly, he
is not allowed to transform past SSJ1, UNLESS--- He transforms during
battle. But, I do not want to see Dudo go SSJ3 in battle and Rp his
transformations in combat, what I mean is, he has ssj1 icly, he can rp going
ssj2 in combat... but i dont want to see him rp going into ssj3. Only one,
because thats a cheep way to do it.) The arena which you fight IS a spar
flagged room, so you will not die. Also, the Grand Kai has asked me if I will
allow him to 'ref' the fights, so I believe he will be joining us there.

Ok Really pissed here.
I was training Ion right now (a char i gave to dems) and
i was stopped by an Immortal for having the same IP. He was right.
We have the same Ip , but we are not the same person. Anyhow i
got told that i should got deleted for botting, and that i'm not
allowed to spar anymore...Well i think this is so unfair, cause i
helped a lot of chars get there where they are right now, and i
have seen so much players botting all day... Infact i know imms
who sparred their chars on me, while they knew i was botting,
and they never bothered... This mud was nice, but lately the
playerbase is making me sick.. Have you seen the top list lately?!
Players who started a few weeks ago, have allready this PL?!
Come on get serious...

Excuse me but im new at this mud, however i do know alot

and theres one thing i do know, that when someone like data
is in a mud who constantly helps newbis and other people
even immortals, that a break might be involved, why is it
automatically assumed that data is cheating because they
have the same ip?? me and my brother have the same ip because
i am on a cable modem and the ips do not change seeings both
our comps are set through one router..and you can split
a modem connection, and if you have a t1 Line you dont need
any splitters...to the point, i never hear of data being an
asshole to people, or a dick head or a rule breaker
so i would ask that he wouldnt get deleted without atleast some
sort of fair investigation, or just to even scratch it off the
list and move on to something more...well...important maybe?
in conclusion, data is a model player..if i were an immortal
which i have been of many other muds even made my own before
data wouldnt be in any trouble what so ever...its just not fair
to 'ASSUME' he is breaking the rules when he never has b4
or rarley if i dont know of an ocassion

again is the fact you and someone on LAN were training one another .
Simply , this could be thought of as double play and botting , and if you were
an IMM , you'd understand the problems that can occur when a higher level

He's right, this port used to be hardcore RP. And though
I don't start Vivid RP scenes. If I happen upon one I'll Join.
And if you've ever been in the same room as me, you know
I always use my Osay for ooc... And I try to rp. I think
that everyone should RP. But it seems only Koa, Xizix,
Waylander, Telstarin, and I put any effort forth in rp.
(If I missed your name I'm sorry[Zaoden]) I know some of
you might disagree and say I don't rp either... But you
all know one things for sure... I've never trained a single
Saiyajin or Halfie. And it's for the simple fact that ICly
My character never got along with Saiyajins... Now I did
however train off of a few Saiyajin(not many). And I've
always RP'd this as "Using" the race for the only thing it
was good for. ;)... Anyway I'm saying RP here sucks now.
We need more... and it needs to be better. The story board
is so littered with shity skill requests I don't even read
it anymore. Something needs to be done about that. Also
I've seen allot of people with skills they don't deserve.
Thats shity too. I've been waiting for Death ball for 3
weeks now. And I've even discussed my story with an Imm.
I've offered to write a new story if mine wasn't good
enough (tho I know it's 1000x better than allot of others).

Now, I understand some LANs don't change IPs. Mine doesn't.
I was also accused of Multi Playing because of my LAN.
The imms went through procedure, and found out that I was
not multi-playing. And I was allowed to continue playing
along side my friend, and help him train. Sadly he didn't
like this mud then because I tried to get him to rp...
Now he plays as Ozz occasionally. If you've talked to him
you've found out he's an idiot and can't rp. But still plays.
And he'll probably write some shity stories for skills and
still get them before I get Death Ball...
Damn I got off on a tangent... Sorry.
Anyway, Data if you couldn't prove you weren't multi-playing
the imms did what they had to do. If you were they did the
right thing, though with the current state of the MUD I could
care less who breaks what rules anyway. If you weren't then
I'm sorry. I've always found you to be one of the better
players to train/RP with. But you must realise even though
some of the Imms are asses sometimes. They have to do what
they have to do. I suggest you come over to the other Port

she ran up to Rathall and began kicking his shins, Rathall danced
around a bit trying to block her amazing speed. Rathall was knocked through
a couple of walls, which was just enough time to try out hi Spirit Bomb
Rathall began to gather large amounts of energy as he raised his arms in the air
soon everything was sparkaling, Freelet entered the room trying to see in the
darkness and then it was bright as day as rathall was charged, the roof had
exploded and the sun was giving Rathall its energy.
Rathall grined as a giant ball hovered above him, glowing in a blur
Eat this brat!
Rathall release his massive ball as Freelet's eyes opened wide as she
was engulphed in flames, her flesh peeled away like an orange.
reveling the tissue, muscle and bone as her body flailed in agony
and then soon she disolved into nothing, ash now layed in her wake.
Damn, that is a killer move!

character interaction going on. So far, though, this MUD shows
a lot more production in moving around than a lot of others I've
been to, so it's to say that at least the players/characters know

As the new leader of AE (Android Elite) and with the loss
of Koa, there are now 4 open spots for the team. Myself,
Redemption, and Fridg are the the only ones left in AE.
Gabe, Angelina, Vel, and Koa were all lost and are either
at the new port or stopped mudding. If you would like to
join AE, please talk to the me (Zierk) ICly abou it.
Be warned, you will be faced with a special task assigned
for you and for you alone to complete unless otherwise told.
The quest will be based apon a task that you are unable to
preform when you ask to join, only smart thinking, powerlevel
boost, tactics, and hard work will your task be able to be
completed. Not all of those factors will be required, but
some will mabye all. Being strong is not what AE is all about.
Even the noobiest person can join, if they show they are worthy.
Granted thou, if you abuse being in the clan or are just in it
because you wish to increase pl, i will not hesitate to kill you
on the spot of being banned from the clan. About Koa, yes he has
left the mud, but he is still in AE ICly only he is not leader no

This is getting re-fucking-diculus. I am talking about the
constant complaints from some nameless Immortal
about no Ic over Ooc channels.
Now, I can understand not over Ooc, because that
is obviously an ooc channel, but it is getting
out of hand.
First off, to many channels are comming under
the restriction of "OOC".
These have been known to include question,
answer, and even tell.
Not only that but the line between ooc and ic
is so thin nobody but the current Imm's mood can
determine what is or is not ooc and ic.
This makes it very difficult and frustrating
having no channel to discuss everything on
as now the latest thing is that gossip
is an "IC" only channel.
In conclusion, find something better to do with
your time instead of enforcing something
so trivial it has almost nothing to do with
the game.
p.s. It was the tell channel being limited
to ooc that pissed me off to write this note, and btw

It was great, but just to let you know, the IMMs are a bunch of
stupid shits. If you are a newbie, don't play here. This place bites
the big one. It's greatly coded and well thought out. Some of the
areas really rock, but the IMM staff sucks. They make it impossible

I never power played, I remember u and S.o.D. did tho.

I do remember 1 time during the tourny cause i was mad
that the dude was powerplaying himself trying to be untouchable \
and automatically restricting movement.
You haven't seen me rp on any other muds than this and that
other one, and why bring the brolli thing up that was 6
weeks ago. Back to buisness I have some imms and a few of the
BEST rpers on this mud teaching, i dont think i am qualified
to teach the classes either.

Ok ppl, listen up. There was once a council of very wise ppl.
They are known as the Diku Council. One day they herd about a
mud called Dragon Ball ARENA and that it was a RP enforced mud.
So a few members came to the mud an saw no rp. So now they went
back and told everyone and the council is gonna pull the serve
and close the mud unless we start rping. (RPUDBA) The Role Playing
Union of Dragon Ball ARENA. Myself, Ace, and a few imms have
started this resistance against the council. We need to RP more.
The mud WILL be closed in 2 weeks unless some major changes are taken.
I know a few ppl on the council, im not bashing but they say that RP
Imms Sayichia and Kanei both restrict RP with there rules. Im not
bashing, or know what rules they mean. But all I know is were finished
unless we rp. Notice the noobies now, all of them? Some are scouts of
the council. Dont harrass them to find out if there scouts, that will
hurt us more to ask and hassarss then to not know. One thing you must
decide right now, will you help us fight? Now ask yourself b4 you decide.
Is this mud really worth it? I will say this, this mud has gone to hell
in the last months. But it might be able to be reformed. I am still
undecided about weither or not ill fight. For right now I am.... to
ralley our players. I am very upset about my to immortals which i loved
so deerly. After all the crap I have done and recived from this mud, I
dunno if i can bring myself to fight for it. So for right now i will.
But that could change. In the meantime, I wanna see a shitload of rp.
RP like you got a pair, put your pl training on hold and suck it up
and give Sayichia and Kanei a chance. I know... i hate there rules too
but thats the only set path we have through the woods. If you love this
mud a much as i did at one time, then you shall fight with honor. The
odds are stacked way high, and its gonna take a lot of work to save it..
But I think it can be done. Dont loose hope, fight with honor... rp forever.
