   You are in the ancient Temple of Itrius, one of the great marvels of the
world and the center of the city.  You're in the center of the temple, near the
altar.  You feel as though you are sheltered here from the outside world,
probably because the temple is built out of bronze, gold and stain-glass.  
There is an area for people to come, sit, and worship their deity.  There are

looks distant, even from here.  The powerful gates prevent access from

Commoner's Square~
   You are just south of the Temple of Itrius.  There are several merchants
here and there bartering for goods, and the usual citizens coming and going.

trail off to the east and west to several of the city's gardens.

The Bakery~
   The bakery is almost a dream come true.  The wood of the building itself
reminds you of something like a magic house made out of cinnamon and sugar.

remained in this historic building, which is now run by a simple smith from out
of town.
