Descr
This closet was surely once the wardrobe for the fine master and mistress
of the house.  Shelf upon shelf and rack upon rack of decayed textiles again
give evidence of the opulence once taken so for granted here.  To the north
you can return to the servant's room.

Descr
The size of this kitchen lends indication to the grandiosity of the
household that once dwelled hear.  From the number of stoves you imagine
quite a large following could be fed at one time.  The fireplaces are cold,
and the pots have not see a food item in many a year.  The kitchen continues
to the north, and small doors lie to either side.

Descr
The huge tubs lying cracked on the ground, and overturned shelves show
that the violence that visited the rest of the house, made a pass through
these joyless confines.  A small door leading to the back lawn stands ajar,
deep grooves dug into its surface.

Descr
This simple room, with a small bed, chest of drawers, and plain table
seems undisturbed and quite normal.  Then you spy the dark streaks running
the length of the ceiling, and you recognize them as what they are: dried
blood stains, as if some bloody mass was dragged across the ceiling, as a
painter might drag a brush across a canvas.

Descr
This small room, no doubt a pantry in its heydey, lies bestrewn with
ruin.  Tattered sacks and refuse from some wild animal make a mockery of the
architect.  There is a trapdoor against the south wall, leading to a cellar
of sorts most likely.  Funny, it is closed, and shows no sign of forced
entry.

Descr
Everything appears to be in order down, apart from the obvious effects of
a long passage of time, suring which no one used this room.  The floor is
remarkably clear and the line of casks appear unburst.  There is a LARGE
sign here, that is probably important to read.
