barge <player>|<roomid>
enables you to go anywhere regardless of invites, bolts, et al.
barge name is like visit name, barge owner.roomid is like trans
bedit:
edit the online site ban file. add a comment ( line starts # )
with the site name, then the site number with * for a range, like
137.205.*.* for all warwick machines, then a space and N for no
newbies and C for complete closure.
This *IS* saved back to disk immediately.
blankpass:
blankpass <user> [<password>]
blanks <user>'s password, optionally to a specific value.
blank_email:
blank_email <user> [<addr>]
blanks their email. beware of blanking to null email and then
confirming or otherwise setting NO_SYNC on them

does more then check for an SU
updates - Letters not yet saved physically to disk after updates
email - List of emails of those logged on?
rooms - Can do on another person
exits - Can do on any room
list - Can check another's list
info - List all the info about a player (very useful)

Change limits on a player. chlim_<whatever> <whoever> <new_limit>
chlim_mail - How many mails can be sent by a player can exist at a time.
chlim_room - How many rooms a player cna own.
chlim_exit - How many exits a player's rooms can have each.
chlim_auto - How many autos a player's rooms can have each.
chlim_list - How many entries a player's list can have.
dump:
Dump all notes to disc. (*)
dfstats:
Stats on the dynamic rooms. pauses the server a few secs.
When the fragmentation reaches about 5% run defrag...
defrag:
Defragments the dynamic rooms. should be done once a week or so or when
the fragmentation reaches 5%. Pauses the Talker for ~30 secs
dtk, dtb:
debug info for the dynamic rooms. DO NOT TOUCH. they kill the pager
summat awful. (*)
grabable:
This lists all the people with grabme set for you. You can however
grab anyone. BEWARE grab everyone
grant:
grant [<user> <flags>]
Grant some priv. Grant by itself lists them. Actually they are more of a
subset of saved flags so you can grant banished et al.
list_notes:
Lists some note stats, god knows what. (*)
list_all_notes:
Allocation stats for all the notes. boring. (*)
list_res:
List_res <letter>
Lists all residents beginning with <letter>.
lag:
lag <person> <time>
Makes the <person> have no output and their input do nothing for <time>
minutes.A 0 to unlag them before time...
make:
make <name> <email> <password>
Makes a new resident with email and password as supplied, without
anyone of that name needing to be logged on.
Best used for the emailed registrations.
malloc:
Stats on memory allocation. msot important is the arena size.
If this gets to much more than 3.5MB start thinkgin about using better
code *8-P. (like something that is completely dynamic, hey guess what?

Works for any place. mindseye owner.roomid
netstat:
Stats on the state of the net traffic to/from the talker.
Use it to prove a talker has no more effect than an ftp session on net
traffic *8-P
port:
Obselete code. Was used for reading in old style player files from a
previous version of EW code (I think -Athanasius).
remove:
Used to remove privs, see grant for details.
rm_move:
rm_move <player> [<time>].
Makes player stick to the ground for <time>.
They can't go, home, leave or be grabbed etc.
rm_note:
Remove some particular note. (*)
restore:
restore <letter>.
This re-reads that set of players from disk. (*)
reload:
Reload reloads the messges (login banner, motd etc see the files dir)
and help, but not the system rooms.
relink:
Use at your own peril! IT changes the links on a given note, could
totally spam up the notes system, or fix it if you know what you're
doing.
recount:
Recounts the number of news articles. Use if news goes screwy.
reset_sneeze:
reset_sneeze <person> [<time>]
Changes the sneeze timeout on a person, you can remove it or make
it rather large...
shutdown:
shutdown <time> [<reason>]
Sets the program to shutdown <time> seconds later. If you give a reason
that will be printed as the actual shutdown takes place, if not a default
is used.
If the angel is running you'll bounce straight back up.
sync:
sync <letter>
Syncs all pfiles for chars beginning <letter> to disc.
syncall:
Syncs all pfiles to disc. forks so the server ought to keep running
validate_email:
validate_email <person>
Sets <person>'s email to be nothing yet valid. use with care.
We have no handle on the emailless.
view_note:
views a note, on a good day downhill with a following wind. (*)
vlist:
vlist <person> [<entry>]
Views the person's entire list. Or with an <entry> supplied, just
that entry.
vlog:
vlog [<log>]
Views a log. With no argument gives a list of viewable logs.
This is best done within unix really.
wall:
wall <message>
This is what produces the:-
<foo> screams -=> summink <=-
messages. Gets through to ANYONE connected.
with:
With is not foiled by being hidden when you're Admin.
