charset

  Show which charset you are using.

charset default

  Sets the charset to the default, which is either latin1 or unicode depending on your terminal type.

charset <charset>

  Set the charset to the specified value.

charset <charset> show

  Shows the top half table for the specified character set. Must be an 8-bit coded character set. For example, CP437, CP850, CP1252, MacRoman, Latin1.
