the concept of a general-purpose OO server was first implemented by Steven
White, and many of the basic premises used in White's Cool are used here.

George Hudson (of the VT and ColdMUD fame) is responsible for a good number
of the inheritance decisions which came out of discussions of servers with
him.

Sandy Wise did the Ultrix port, Kim Liu did the Linux as well as doing quite
a lot of cool DB and client work.  Marnix K. fixed a lot of things in the
DB and added the groovy $$-editor thing for @describe.
