This lets you make a single, non-blocking request to the MySQL daemon. Queries follow the format of any standard SQL query. See http://www.mysql.com/doc/ for documentation on formatting queries.
The result of the query is returned via a tell_creator in the call back function.
The standard database is 'discworld'.
