does 'mark all' work for anyone here?

Whenever I 'mark all', I get a page that says all has been marked as read; but then if I go back to the forums and hit recent posts, I still get the threads I 'mark all'ed.

Is there a way to mark things as read such that they don't show up in recent posts? Or is there some other way to get at unread, but not recent, threads?

'Recent Threads' shows not only unread posts, but recent ones too. Just kinda gotta wait till it scrolls off.
