Heh, got curious so I took a gander at the output of TMC's pages.

I'd say that TMC loads slowly for you due to the heavy use of graphics and rollovers. You'll notice that the entire navigation here is text links. They've also got several graphic ads on their front page.

Saw alot of funky things like… huge blocks of commented out code… nested tables. Redundant formatting. Mixed-case tags (ie Script instead of script). It'd be a nightmare to update to modern standards which aren't as forgiving as HTML4.

Lets just say that I'm glad I'm not maintaining that code.
