That wasn't what I meant. I know there is an option, but that doesn't mean it actually disables it. As Nick said, even if it's off it still handles MXP (for HTML links for example).
My experience with it is that it does not process any html or mxp tags if the option is turned off. I did a few simple tests using the bold, italic and underline tags with and without mxp parsing and they functioned as expected. When on, the tags were rendered and text was bold, italic and underlined, but when mxp parsing was off the tags showed up as normal text.
Why not just turn the descriptors mxp acceptance to off so the mxp functions wont parse any MXP tags?
At least, thats what I do for my game. *shrug*
