Good Morning,

It has been a long time since I browsed mudbytes, and when I came back I found the website mindblowing confusing to navigate. I like the feature when you scroll down that expands files. However, how do you search forum posts? I see no search box. I guess if there was a search box to search the forum the new style would be navigable. I don't think search works for files either. For instance I typed search protocol. Which you would think would show Kavir's and Scandum's snippets, but showed a bunch of other stuff. It's just very hard to find all the good stuff that is located here.

Maybe I'm the only one with this problem, is there a link that shows search boxes I'm missing? I use google chrome browser maybe that's the problem?

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that what once was a great resource won't be used by google chrome users if they have same problems navigating.

I just tried navigating with firefox too, no search boxes for forums.

LoL, I just noticed the box I thought was a search box for files/snippets is only a upload box. So there is no way to search except scrolling down and viewing the whole list looks likes.

Hey MasterBlaster,

Unfortunately MudBytes as it is, is incomplete. Due to problems with the old site bringing down the server and the other sites hosted, it needed to be changed. This was in the works, and was pretty much the only option. Currently there is a search for forums, it's just not linked, it only works for forums. http://www.mudbytes.net/forum/search/

I'll be getting around to the file repository sometime early in the new year, right now things are pretty crazy but it certainly isn't the site I'd envisioned for release, but it's getting there. For now you can use the tags for some degree of accuracy.

Sorry, and thanks for using MudBytes!

Some weird stuff with the activity feed. It displays random posts from specific codebase forums. Before this screenshot, all the posts were from the tiny forum.

Yeah, it's showing weird "recent posts" for me, too.
