It's that time again and Lotj has concluded yet another timeline! This last timeline lasted from April 2013 until July 2015 and ended in traditional Lotj fashion with an epic EoT (End of Timeline) conclusion. We have just opened up the doors after a 3 day wizlock to create the new theme for this upcoming timeline that features the Republic and Trade Federation.

Era 1 tends to be the most exciting era of a timeline as all of our old time players return and our player base sours (Current max so far since opening is 80 player). It is a great time to welcome new players and we've had quite a few join recently in fact. After an EoT there is a pwipe and the entire game world is reset, so there is ample opportunity to find other players to quest with since we are all starting from scratch.

For more information about Lotj, here's my own personal account of what Lotj has to offer: http://www.mudconnect.com/SMF/index.php?...

In other news.. I've been working on a client for Lotj which has had great reviews from our player base. Currently the client is made using MUSHclient, but I plan to work on a Mudlet version soon for all you Mac and Linux users

Client can be downloaded here: www.github.com/xavious/lotjclient

As a Mudlet coder may I ask why you don't mention 'Doze users for your forthcoming Mudlet based solution? I know that the Redmond OS is virtually never the right answer for many FOSS computing situations but there are enough idiots users out there for it to be worth including them in your coverage!

Lol.. this comment might just be a bit over my head man. I was wooed by a few Mudlet screenshots recently. Previously I was content with MUSHclient and thought everyone should just be using Windows on their personal computer anyway :P. I use Linux for work things, but it's not very convenient on a personal computer, to me personally anyway. Once I saw the screens for Mudlet, and saw it fancies Lua as its scripting langauge, I figured maybe I should delve into it for the sake of appealing to a wider audience with the "Lotj Client."

You're listed on the MUDPortal now, so you also have the option to customize the web app there. Or at least spend a few minutes to point your "play now" link to a link generated by http://www.mudportal.com/embed.html

Thanks Plamzi! I was digging around on there a bit. I'll take another look and see what I can come up with.
