Ok got your point now, even if I do not really agree about the real added work quantity. I always totally separated data from the UI as much s I could, as it is ways easier to code test cases that way. More work in the beginning, lot less afterwards, but off course, it only depends if there is an afterwards or not. (I worked professionaly for 10 years, the problem is there has ALWAYS been an afterwards to your quick and dirty tools that should not have been strecthed how far the boss asked heh..)
