As a life-long dweller of the Steamy Sizzlin' South.. yeah, my fireplace is for decoration only, too. And it sucks at that. ;-)

Incidentally, the old RPG games had an amazing range of house decoration. The Breath of Fire series even went so far as to include mandatory bathrooms in every house. FF had a lot of fireplaces…
