Yes, you read that right: no telnet in the latest build of Vista. No "Run…" button either, instead just "Command prompt.."

Oi. Vista. Colossal waste of time and energy. Linux is looking more and more inviting to me the less and less I play games in Windows. Or even a Mac. But either way I'm certainly not going to be upgrading to Vista at home.

Well, I guess that means I won't be bothering to upgrade my game machine to vista.. not that I was planning to anyway.. good thing I migrated everything except those games that won't run under anything but windows to linux a couple of years ago anyway. :smile:

use putty its better than ms telnet anyway.

you can get vista rc1 for free if you want and have a dvd/rw drive

I believe the command prompt in vista is supposed to be more powerful, but I haven't tried it.
