  • That part is key. We know better than to have one large code repository due to Calvin, I wouldn't suggest having one source of anything else in the future either.

He's the Diku License Violator that banned me from TMS for calling him a DIKU License Violator.

For what it's worth: http://www.aardwolf.com/v3/v3diku.html - Sounds like a genuine effort of a rewrite. I got banned from MudBytes once for being political incorrect, shit happens.

No there's at least a dozen, but only one is pink. :-)

Quite a few are TinyMUD only or have a different scope. I think mudwiki.org has a lot going for it with the current setup, domain name, and the lack of annoying banners. Once some artwork is put in it should look pretty slick as well.

Not that diku license violation is my specialty, but:

The entire thread, actually, is pretty interesting :)

Included a banner into the main page and prettied it up, looks pretty cool now. Waiting for Lasher to update the logo and it should be good to go. I added a basic MudBytes article but I lack information about the owner/authors/launch date.

Launch date appears to be May 14th, 2006 according to this:
    http://www.mudbytes.net/index.php?a=news...

As far as the owners/authors, I'm under the impression that Davion, Kiasyn, and Samson are the owners/authors, but someone I'm sure will correct me if I'm wrong soon :p

So let's say my players want to create pages (probably subpages from my MUD article) of say areas/skills/etc on my MUD. Is that something this Wiki is suitable for?

No, it's supposed to be a generic wiki with a preference of primary sources over secondary sources. On Wikipedia good secondary sources are a must, which aren't available for most mud related topics.

    Edit: Thanks for the info.
