Hi everyone,

Can I put AD here? Or where I can? Sorry if I brake the law of MudBytes.

But anyway Altoria MUD (www.altoriamud.org) is looking for PAID builders/staff/RP Admins!

We are looking for builders (if you know CoffeeMud codebase is good point).
You do not suppose to create an area per day :)) but we are looking for person who can improve our MUD. We are looking for someone who can build unique areas.

Staff. Yep we also looking for staff. At this moment what you need is just be online as much as you can and answer to players questions. You should be familiar with CoffeeMud CodeBase. Another task is to find new players for Altoria MUD :)

RP Admin - you should be familiar with quest system of CoffeeMud. if you don't, but you good at RP (maybe you are RP Master?), let us know.

Here we are. Interesting part. What does paid mean? :)

Yep, paid means paid.
However, we make mud for fun, so we can't afford to pay you cash :)
But if you become a builder or other staff member, you will get a free hosting for almost any of your projects (no porn, no file archive, no any open ports).

You could have:
- up to 150 Mb for your files (No File Archive);
- php, mysql;
- up to 1Gb traffic (no porn :);
- full ftp control;
- phpmyadmin;
- Ruby on Rails on demand;

You just need to buy a domain name for your project and we will give you names of DNS.

So you are builder or wanna be staff member? Send email to this address: maxrusgal (at) gmail.com

Payin with hosting? That's a new one. Not a bad idea, but you have to think: What exactly would builders/RP imms do with hosting? And 99.99 percent of them probably don't even know what exactly a shell is, let alone how to operate one.

:) Thx. Will see

If someone don't know shell, no problem because they will have CPanel (actually, not exactly CPanel, but similiar) :)

"Barter" might be a slightly less misleading way of describing your proposed arrangement.

Spelling and Grammar Checking would be less painful on the eyes and brain as well.

In this case, I think grammar checking would be the real key, I didn't notice anything in his posts that a spell checker would catch, just words spelled incorrectly so they're other words instead. :wink:

No big deal, your meaning was conveyed well enough.

If you need any custom code for that CoffeeMud (or any help I can give, code-wise) let me know. Willing to work on well-formed ideas. Will work for coffee beans. No English required. Foreign fresh coffee beans(isn't it all, to me in the USA?) accepted by mail as payment. Nothing like some good Java.

;)

Let me just add that my offer of help stands, as long as you stop emailing my staff asking them to join your game. Thanks!

I got that as soon as I read your first post. After dealing with a lot of foreign counties with my work, I can spot someone that doesn't speak english natively pretty quick.. Not that people should be making a comment about grammar when clearly it isn't just some idiot 13 year old 7yp1ng 1337 4nd s7uff
