Holy crapola. That sig is waaaaayyyy too long, Zenn. Especially with an obnoxious flashing red alert sign. :robot:

I have to agree, Zenn, that signature is a bit excessive, and the animation is definitely not something we'd like to see. Take a look at the sigs Tyche and Conner both have, both of those are about as far as we'd like to see things get.

 Always nice to be cited as an example of the extreme of what the admins of a site will let you get away with.

I don't understand the need to have the images in the sig, mine serves it's purpose. Samson's obviously does too. >.>

Well, I did try to make the images small sitting right next to the other..

But it didn't work :(

How'd you do it, conner? :P

You already have an animated avatar, is it really necessary to have an animated sig, too. Your sig takes up the same amount of room as a post or two…

The animation doesn't bother me really, mainly because the animated pictures are both KB-wise smaller than the non-animated eagle-esque image.

It's not the size in kb that bugs me. It's the size in pixels and the ostentatiousness of it. A sig isn't really meant to be a walking, blaring neon sign, if you know what I mean. Just think what it would look like if everybody had a sig like that… :surprised:

I've taken the liberty of reorganizing that sig a bit, but that USF graphic is just too large, see if you can reduce it in size or something. And the animated red alert is annoying. If you have a still shot of it that would be fine.

I would have an epileptic seizure. Not to mention, I'd stop reading the forums.

Actually, I'd added the images about the time MudBytes first opened because Samson had made changes to QSFP that allowed them to be there and I was helping test stuff, but I kind of like them being there so they've stayed.. besides, it keeps my sig pretty distinctive.

Well, I started with resized images that roughly fit together there and then played with it in the signature editor for hours to get it as close to looking right as I could.

*snicker* That's almost enough incentive to go find a nice flashing animated image or two to add to my sig for a day just to see if you'd really have a seizure.

If somebody did that, I'd hit the ban button so hard, that it'd overpower the fact that I don't have a ban button here.
