So a real gem of xkcd popped into my RSS reader here at work.

While it's humorous and wishful…It would be interesting to see if this would drive machine learning further. Profit is a powerful motivator; it would be interesting to see some more advanced AI systems than the ones that just competed in the Loebner competition recently.

XKCD is one of the three webcomics I constantly read, and they're by far the smartest (with no insult to Penny Arcade or Rooster Teeth .. the guy behind the xkcd genius really is a genius). I loved his research into Colors and into communication on the internet in the past.
