Seems to have been plenty being talked about to me. Even if it wasn't exactly mud related :P

It kinda did :p

I'm trying to get into the snippet releasing business, as it were.

I've released my second one recently, and have some others that I plan on releasing. Of course, they're nothing compared to the massive ones you and some others have written up, but it's a start :)

Threads pop up and get responses, but not many people seem to start threads.

It's just one of those things. Like how we have topics that end up drifting badly off into something completely different. ( email notifications anyone? ).

It could be people really don't have anything new to talk about. Or the existing threads already cover it. Or the people here don't post much up because they're more savvy than the average and don't need as much help. Could be people just don't have the time anymore.

Easiest way to get more topics is to post them though :)

Speaking of which, how do you feel on the GWOT?

Global War on Terror. And that's a subject for another thread if we really want to pursue that here :)

Haha, It was joke ;)

You talked about people drifting off topic.

Yes, I know, but still. There would be no harm in discussing the GWOT in a separate topic if that's what people want to do.

It's in my experience much more fun to let people go off on rants about programming related subjects than political ones, though I guess it's an acquired taste.

There is however a lack of interesting discussions people can mess around with for a couple of days, assuming I'm not the only one who's bored by most programming related discussions/topics.
