According to http://www.greatfirewallofchina.org/ Mudbytes.net is blocked in China, along with about 90% of the interwebs, as far as I can tell.

Can I get a wtf? :(

wtf

http://lpmuds.net

I've got two theories:

1) The site is anti Chinese propaganda and shows everything as blocked.
2) The PRC blocks anything not explicitly allowed by firewall rules.

Of course, theory 3 involves Kyndig, but I'm not mentioning it
lest KaVir denounce my motivations!

A site their faq specifically says is allowed, google.cn, comes up as blocked.

Me thinks its rigged to say them all are.

From their faq:

Internet service providers also (self)censor, as do individuals: many people do not express their real thoughts because they know these will be censored anyway.

I bet they just run it through a very restrictive self-censored ISP.

Or perhaps their silly little test server has been discovered and anything it asks for is being blocked? :P

I won't, as long as you don't claim I'm corrupt for listing my mud on chinese websites ;)

My mud's website is blocked as well, although my ISP isn't.
