FYI Train fares from Newark Penn Station on NJTransit are $4, from Newark Liberty Airport it is slightly more. The PATH (also accessible from Newark Penn) will put you either at the World Trade Center station near Wall Street, or 33rd Street at Herald Square - I believe that cost is roughly the same as the NYC Subway.
