As on the edge of a knife, the waters here are balanced with surges
coming from the west and south, but also waves stacking up from the north
and east.  Wherever this is it doesn't look safe to wander too far.  To the
northwest a maw of power sinks into the waves and to the south edged spirals
of rock soar.

In the Turmoil~
A huge wave launches in from the south and west heading north.  The
currents are intense and the air above does not lesson it.  The gusts of
wind lash out drawing on the waters and airing the storm above that strikes
with lightning and darkness.  To the west and the south powerful maelstorms
whirl and spin drawing everything into themselves.

The Great Maw~
Dipping in a graceful curve a maelstorm deceives perception.  The actual
power and fury of nearby surf streams and surges pushing to the north and
drawing from the south and east.  This nightmarish hole sucks in all life
and betraying hidden power locked within it.

Slamming against the cliffs to the north a massive maw of power spins
dizzingly and mindlessly.  The thoughtless power of creation meets the wall
of land buttressing forth and slowly wears over the centuries to where it
now is.  Lightning flashes and strikes the waters instantly creating
supercharged death.

A storm swallows the region in darkness and forboding pressures. To the south the 
creation rages against banks of stone blocking portege. The air above is oppressive
and rank with death and electricity. Sparks fly and streams of lightning hit the
oceans surface throwing surf up and about.

The air above turns black and smells of decay and age.  The powers of the
storm begin to spread from the west eating away at what sunlight once
existed.  The currents strike north and west being draw to deepers waters. 
Relief can be seen to the east if escape is still possible.

A fierce storm engulfs the nearby regions throwing surf up and objects
down.  A current catches the air drawing all out into the deeper waters. 
Lightning flashes and the sky darkens hinting at the ferocity that lies
nearby to the west.

A soft bank lies to the south suggesting rolling hills and green fields. 
Here on the ocean the wind is brisk and salty, and brime flies up caught by
its passage.  The east shows a sandy beach and to the west shadows form
showing a great storm.

The Dragon Ocean~
A break in the cloud cover allows a stream of light to break through. 
The illuminated waters show varied marine life, strong and striving.  The
shadows around foreshadow a greater one to the western horizon.  To the east
shining beaches welcome visitors.

The Dragon Ocean~
A seagull cries out and swoops down snatching something out of the
waters.  The waters begin to pick up in wave strength nervously indicating a
greater work going on.  The westward view shows a nearby storm with lashing
lightning and fierce waves.  Here though, on the outskirts, only a chill
seeps in.  To the east a bank rises.

Eastern Reaches~
The beach breaks here into a path to the east.  The nearby sand is white
and sparkling, showing much polish and wear.  The wind is crisp but
overhanging the air is pressure pointing to a nearby storm.  Over the
western horizon only water lays, but a shadow darkens the far reaches.

Eastern Reaches~
Soft waters lap against the eastern shore of the ocean.  The waters to
the west give no indication of how far away land may be.  The nearby shore
teams with life, with small crabs scuttling about, and clams basking in the
sun.  A shadow in the west hangs over the horizon.

Inside the Funnel~
Swirling around at a dizzying speed the nearby waters toss and throw. If not
for being in an ocean it's positive vomit would be spilled everywhere. Fish
putter by flashing large lidless eyes in curiosity. The flashes of lightning
above and the storm seemingly lost into oblivion.

The Dragon Sea~
The water laps about the sides of your boat, splashing up onto the bow,
leaving a salty residue as it dries in the sun.  The sea here is choppy, but
not especially rough, and it expands to the east and south.  To the west
impassable cliffs tower thousands of feet above, and to the north a tall
structure rises from the water, its fifty foot wall seemingly impossible to
scale.
