These are the castle walls of Igros.  It is a hundred feet high, several
hundred wide.  There are sparse patrols along the roof of the complex.  The
gate is open, and you can see inside the castle walls.

Training Grounds~
"Parry, thrust, parry, thrust!"  The sergent is training the recriutes in
the use of swords.  There are a few accidents here and there, but they seem
to be doing well.  The castle is to the east.

Before the Castle~
This is a magnificent fortress indeed.  It has 2 large, connected
structures at the front, with a gate in the middle to access the square. 
There are 4 main towers, one at each corner of the building.  Periodically,
it has a beautifully crafted stained glass window.  They are depictions of
the 50 year war.  The garrison is at a relative peace now.  Where the
biggest problem is a pack of nomad panthers.

The Square of the Castle~
This place is where almost all of the acitivity is.  The carts of goods
are dropped off here, there are droves of people walking about, and the
sound of animals is everywhere.  A blacksmith is to the north, east is the
main complex, and south is the church.

Swords, axes, shields, armor.  This blacksmith is certainty a busy man. 
The large forge, along the north wall, is heating a sword.  There are
several benches around, each with a set of tools on it.  The smith is in the
corner, polishing a dagger.

Church of Igros~
This is the castle's small place of worship.  Several depictions of
heroes and events are everywhere.  There are 4 rows of oak pews, and the
altar is against the wall.  Above it reads "Blame yourself, or God."

Inside the Castle~
The entry hall is on of the biggest in the castle.  Several large windows
line the walls, and a very large staircase goes around the northern end. 
The sparse occupants who are running about barely notice newcomers.  The
servants go about their business, cleaning the carpet, replacing candles and
preparing the meals.

Eastern Side of the Chamber~
The eastern end of the room is well traveled, and near a very large
staircase.  A few guards are at the base of the structure, guarding the path
to the king.  The staircase clings onto the wall, circling it until it
reaches the southern end.

The staircase it made of stone.  With priceless works of art lining the

The trail turns off to the right as it passes a waterfall.  It goes
through a dip in the valley wall.  It continues downward and the foliage is
thicker.  Many trees and shrubs litter the area.  The trail continues south.

The trail curves to the west on a bend, hugging the edge of a downward
slope.  The ocean can be seen from this place.  It looks strangely green,

The church is quite magnificent looking from the outside.  The front face

Inside Murond~
The first, and main room of Murond is very luxurious.  5 large windows
line the walls, and an embroidered red carpet is laid from the door to the
wall on the far end.  2 fountains on either side of it create small streams
that flow down a crevice to the outside.  They leave about a meter of space
before the wall to allow access to the door on the northern end.

Murond Chapel~
The set of stairs on the other side of the door lead you here.  It is
very dark.  Lit only by 4 sets of candles.  In the center of the room is a

This city is very remarkable.  Contraptions of all shapes linger about.

Crossing the Sea~

This place is gloomy indeed.  It seems everything is in a shade of grey
and worn down.  There is even a house is on its side.  The sign appears to

As you continue on the log to the south, more of the swamp can be seen
through the fog.  The end of the slippery log rests on a rock.  A narrow

The Forming Road~
The forests begin to thin in a central part of the forest, forming a
makeshift road.  It appears to be made by animals, or possibly humans.  The
trees are tall, wide, and very green.  Many shorter plants cover the ground,

Approaching the Castle~
Another, more traveled road comes together with the smaller makeshift
one.  It leads east, and bends to the north, where a castle can be seen. 
This castle, however, has blockaded the road, refusing visitors.  Apparently
something has worried them.  The eastern rout is unblocked, and is ready to
be used.

Gaining Altitude~
The marshes become less numerous as the ground slopes upward.  Off in the
distance, it appears to become more mountainous and rocky.  The ground is

By the River~
The trail nears a small river.  It's moving slowly through the shallow

The river begins to take up speed as it continues east on its downward
flow.  The shape of a valley begins to form as the river gets larger.  The

The river gets very deep at this point.  Making a crossover impossible.

On the Rock~
The rock is more slippery, and the jump is further than expected.  It is
very hard to move, for fear of falling into the water is keeping you at bay.

The waterflow is much faster than expected, and you can't swim back to
shore.  To the east, plumes of steam rise in the air.  You vaguely see the

Waterfall Base~
Scrambling for air, you resurface at the base of the cliff.  The fall
wasn't as bad as expected, but there seems to be no way back.  The water is

The altitude here is much lower than the valley.  Evergreens get replaced
by leaved trees, and the slope is much calmer.  Eastward, an ocean exists,

Approaching the Delta.~
The forest is very thick to the north, and is almost impassible.  It
seems that following the river is the only way.  The river appears to

Inside the Forest~

In the crowded bar~
This bar is crowded.  There are sailors are surrounding the tables.  Many

You descend below the portal to Ivalice and find yourself in a very dark
natural cavern.  The walls are of some dark and shiny rock, perhaps pumice. 
You feel as if you are being watched.  Perhaps you better turn back.

You enter a small shop, with a single product, the infamous 'Useless
Scrolls'.  These scrolls were originally thrown away as useless until the
right people figured out exactly how to use them, Don't you wish you were

Approaching the Dragon Sea~
The sea is glassy and clear here, probably forty fathoms deep.  To the
northeast a small island can be seen, and to the south the open reaches of
the Dragon Sea.  A small structure seems to be poking out of the ocean's
pristine surface a few miles to the south.

Nearing the Fortress~
What seems to be the top of a structure pokes out of the ocean just to
the South.  A small dock and a doorway is all that can be seen, with a guard
at the door.  The sea has a bit of chop to it here, as large schools of fish
shimmer from the depths below.

Offshore~
Just a couple miles offshore, the ocean has become calm.  Its deep
soothing green reflects its depth, as unknown creatures of the deep prowl
the abyss below.  To the west the beach can still be seen, the sand
glistening in the sun.
