The carvings seem to have been defiled and the runes erased from this ancient looking fountain. The only things noticable are a small mithril plack at the bottom of one sitting stone in the wall and two large statues in the center of the water.

Looking over this rather large statue you see that the face has been worn away, the arms and legs eaten at corrosively and at the feet a small inscription.

Southern Gates~
You make your way past the guards to find that the city seems to close in around you with the grip of a death vice.
The clouds have grown very dark and the thunder louder. The smell of burt flesh seems to hang in the air like a nightmare that took to long to wake up from. The rainy mist makes viewing your surroundings almost impossible.
You manage to make out the walls of the city with paths leading off to the east and west, and up ahead, the light from a torch smokes and flickers.

Walking between the buildings you see blood trails leading everywhere.
Off in the distance a load scream sends a chill down your back. The cobblestones seem to make the air thin and cold.

Everywhere you look you see tall, stone carved buildings. Windows, from the second floor of one are casting a strange blue light on the road. Up ahead the screams grow louder. 
To the north you see aarakocran's holding slaves by chains and carring torches. The sounds of lashings being dealt, pierce through the air every so often.

Guilds Court~
A huge open area with merchants and slave everywhere. Guards stand by the sides of slavers as the bargain with one another for different races.
A large fountain rests in the center on the court. Two tall statues have been placed in the middle of the fountain.
In the east corner of the court, a judge procides over a heiring between two slavers.

Trade Street~
The buildings here look as if they've been looted. The store fronts littered with broken glass and clay shards. From the south you can hear sounds of an auction where slaves are being sold.
To the north, the roar of a crowd rises over the streets and you can see two city guards walk away from you. Out the corner of your eye you notice a shadow slipping into an alley.

Grand Temple of Azsheek~
The street opens into a massive cobblestone park. Merchants selling goods, as human slaves load the wagons.
In the center of the park rests the Grand Temple of Azshreek. Two large statues mark the entrance to temple. The stairs seem to glow and shimmer in the dark glare from the clouds above.

You begin making your way down this deserted avenue. Flashs of lighnting cross the sky, followed by thundering in your ears. The darkness surrounds you death shroud. 
To the south is a wider than normal door with what sounds like the barking of orders in another language coming from behind it. To the north, another door, this one with glass panes which show you nothing of the inside. 
The avenue continues on east and west.

The walls here are covered in a dark burgandy stain. Suddenly you here screams off in the distance followed by the crack of a whip. This sound is replaced by the marching of a guard up on the south wall. 
The avenue comtinues east and west.

For a moment, the only sound is the deep, uneven rises in your breath, made all that more labored by the cold, thin air. Laughter breaks in from the building to the north. All you can see is that there iis light inside
but the windows are to steamy to tell anymore. The avenue continues on to the east and west.

You go stumbling into the south wall as you trip over a large sack.  Brushing yourself off, you look around to find that the glow from the sack is casting a rich blue hue on the surrounding walls.  
The air almost tastes acidic, which may explain the burning in your eyes.  That damp, dank smell still enters your mind with each step getting
stronger. The footsteps of the wall guard seem to creep nearer. 
The avenue continues on to the east and west along the southren wall.

Doors can planly be seen to the north and south. The north, having the look of a shop of some sort, while the south appears to be a roughly fashioned steel door bolted to the south wall of the city.
You get that acidic taste in your mouth as you hear two guards conversing up on the wall.

The slightest shiver crosses your neck. You see nothing but the huge walls of the buildings on both sides of you. The screams grow louder as the the lights above the center of town provide more light to the dismal streets.

The intersection of Bloodbain Street and Domnes Avenue marks the spot on which the castle was first stormed 8 years ago. The cobblstones here are completely stained with dark red blood.
Domnes Of Garhab, self proclaimed ruler of Avaingoth, named this site and roads which connect to it after himself and his triumphs.

A Dark Angel eyes you as you come up the stairs. Reaching the top, you find a breathtaking view across the desert. The darkness coming from the clouds above begins to give way to the sun shining down on the hot sands.

The stones of the road are cracked and weathered. The sounds of the Guilds Court to the west begin to fade and are replaced by the music of a bard coming from the inn to the south. Looking down the road to the east,
you can make out two large Dark Angels capturing a human. A satisfied merchant stands close by waiting to have his property returned.

The room has five benches lined up neatly from east to west.
The floor shows stains of blood that are most likely very old. All about the walls, there are hastly inscribed runes.  To the north is housing for the guards which from here seems to be the main smell that hangs in the air.
To the west, an office, while east is the door to the southeast watchtower.

City Clerk's Office~
Rolls of parchment line the walls of this small office. A tiny light stone glows inside of a holder, allowing the ten foot long room to be searched with the eyes quickly.
There's a large wooden desk here with a small chair pushed underneath, apon which the light hold sits. Down the hallway you can clearly hear City Guards recieving orders for the day.
