Description:
This is a replacement for the standard format_string() function designed to be used with string editors on RoM MUDs. It will preserve newlines (the previous function stripped all newlines, making paragraph-formatting impossible).
I didn't write this function. For the life of me, I cannot remember where it came from. If anyone has information on where, please let me know and I'll do my best to get you accredited (assuming you're not already included in the credits the function came with).
I require absolutely no credit, but I ask that you leave the credits and comments (not including my installation instructions) that come with the code. Thanks, enjoy.
